Umm. This thread is useless without my hometown boys the Astros! Trading for Randy Wolf when they're like 14 games out! Dumbest move of all time.

can't we throw in my hometown team for basement dweller consistency? Pittsburgh Pirates!!!
this year adding a twist to their heart-renching below mediocrity by actually having a above avg hitting club with more then one all-star talent hitter... but balancing that by having AA pitching. Seriously half of their starters this year have done poorly in AA and AAA. Not to mention the all time highest ERA in baseball history starter being run out there constantly in july

Lifelong Jays fan, and they are fighting it out for last in the east, with a dominant ace, a decent pen and NO consistency at the plate, they are still better than ANY team in the NL west(Arizona hasnt proved anything yet)

I would have to say the Padres. They play in the pitiful NL West, and still can't do anything. Just as long as they win when I bet on them.

Well, I say bet against the Padres w/o Peavy or Young on the Mound and the M's w/o Felix.

    Does that answer your question?

Even then though, these teams just cannot score runs...

It is undeniably the Nationals. Their entire team is composed of washed up guys who can't seem to hit. They have 3 good players, Guzman, Zimmerman, and Milledge. Milledge is on the DL, like a majority of their team. Their only somewhat reliable pitcher is Tim Redding.

I agree, EP, even though we really didn't give up much. But I'm so tired of the front office pissing on my leg and trying to convince me it's just a gentle spring rain falling.

Can't wait for Wade to be gone now.

On the Astros website today, they are talking about a playoff push now that they have Randy Wolf. Who knew a 6-10 pitcher would be the missing piece. LOL.

Yet another Phillies retread from Wade's former days in Philadelphia. The playoff talk is craaaaaaaaaaaaaap, naturally, and come this time next month the countdown will be on for the end of the Wade/Cooper Years, oops, Year (singular).

They didn't have such a fine young pitching prospect as Chad Reineke to tempt the Padres with

The Astros at least have offense. The worst team is the Nationals. They are bad in every category.
