I'm assuming a pinnacle and possibly a mansion account is a must...I've also heard betjamaica is good as well when it comes to baseball...anyone have experience with matchbook or Cris in baseball?...

what are the key things to look out for?...are their daily scalps available?...how hard is it?...I'd like to hear what you guys have to say...thanks...

NFL and NBA are generally 20c lines, MLB is generally 10c so there is naturally a greater propensity to be able to scalp on slimmer lines.

As to the specific details on it, I doubt people would be willing to share - scalping isn't like sharing a tip on a game. The more people that take advantage of an opportunity, the more likely that opportunity is to vanish.

Pinnacle and Mansion are absolute, definite, total, don't-fart-around-just-have-them, musts.

What you are looking for is opinionated or slow-to adjust lines. I wouldn't bother with Bet Jamaica - not opinionated at all. CRIS had 20 cent lines on MLB sides last year - if they're doing that again this year, don't bother with them for scalping. Better to use their sister book DSI which had dime lines (although they broke low and were only moderately opinionated).

I can't stress strongly enough that Intertops had good opinionated, slow-to-adjust MLB lines last year. ABC Islands was good. WSEX had 7 cent lines by the end of last year and generated some decent arbs. BetonGames was worth keeping an eye on.

As far as tips: probably the best time to find arbs is either right when lines are posted - (if you're really serious, it can pay to actually do research and keep notes on when individual books post their openers) - or else in the short time leading up to first pitch. The closer you get to game time, the more line fluctuation you are likely to see. Fluctuation is good for scalping.

IMO baseball is easier to scalp consistently than anything else. But if you are doing it manually (i.e. you aren't using a service which provides alerts) it is not especially fun. It is work.

Make no mistake, you can make a lot of money arbing baseball manually (providing you have a decent amount of money spread out among strategic books) - but it is a grind.

i think you have that reversed taco when it comes to vig, but i knew what you ment.

20 cent lines are killers when it comes to MLB scalping. even books like SIA and bowmans can't always make there lines high enough to make it a scalping opportunity.

Your second sentence made no sense, and it's "their" not "there". What do you mean "high enough"? The vig? How would making the vig high make it more scalpable?

matchbook isn,t as generous as they once were on the moneyline.also,you need a book that posts overnights and there is risk and reward by taking an early position.good luck
