If I layed wood, I'd take Haas at the big #. He should beat Moya pretty easily, but I still can't lay -270 to -290 on anyone. Tell you who I think I might bet against today - Johansson. He struggled in the qualis here.

The Rogers Cup matches are very tough today. I like a few ladies today. As for Rogers again this could change by match time I only like Marat Safin 1st set winner so far. The rest is brutal

I'm on Giles over Young - Giles and Haas an identical price and the chances of Giles (coming off an impressive hard court championship) beat Young are greater than Haas beating Moya

After Tipsarevic and Gulbis both crashed yesterday, I'm not sure if I'll be betting today. Wawrinka and Youzhny wins saved the day, but not even Youzhny made it easy.
My best bet for today in the cup has gotta be Arnaud Clement at -162. Bjorkman is over the hill, and is a grass courter at best. Clement has shown himself as a solid hard court player over the years.

Looks like a chalky beginning today. Still leaning heavily toward Golubev at +220 to take out Johannson. Everything else looks rather chalky at this time to me.

He hung in there, but got to figure if Gulbis was a year or two older that wouldn't have happened. Blowing 5-1 in 3rd set is a pretty big choke job, taking nothing away from Acasuso but Gublis' inexperience showed there. |
