Their having problems with their check processor as with many other books / poker sites. I would suggest using their Rapid transfer deposit/ withdrawal method. You'll get your payouts alot quicker and in cold hard cash.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum
I do know it has been confirmed that Bodog lost one of there regular mail check processors not to long ago. Also, they have received a downgrade in the SBR ratings guide based on these banking issues.

BoDog is a book you need to get out of and quick, they are having major problems and legal issues are going to be in there way also. There is absolutely no need to play there, ZERO

Great advice JJ. I saw somewhere that they were giving people a $200 bonus for a $500 redeposit like a week ago. I say run don't walk from these bonuses.

Funny they only bounce to US customers, yet everyone blames the book rather than the government.

Well, I dont see books like bet jam, 5 dimes, greek bouncing checks...Yes the govt plays a role but there are ways around it... its obvious bodog has not found the answer to the problem yet.

I am going to disagree a bit here with Durito.
I think the downgraded is justified, not b/c Bodog isn't financially capable of paying its clients, it surely is, but because Bodog has not provided an adequate response to the U.S. government's draconian laws whereas other elite books have found ways around it with minimal inconvenience. It shouldn't take a month to get paid and checks shouldn't bounce to U.S. clients. I am not a businessman, but I can tell you that doesn't seem like a very efficient business model. Its been now almost 2 years since NeTeller turned its back to U.S. customers and Bodog has had sufficient time to adjust. Jamaica, Cris, 5dimes, and WSEX have.

All of those books have bounced checks in the last two years. WSEX takes 4+ weeks on checks sometimes.
The problem is that these processors can only do a small # of transactions before they get shut down. Bodog and sportsbook.com are very high profile with a large number of clients, most of whom are pulling out relatively small amounts.
Bodog used to process thousands of withdrawals a day in a matter of minutes. Does everyone not think they would vastly prefer to be able to still do that? This is clearly terrible for their business.

If it wasn't for their customer service (A- quality) and betting interface (A quality), they would be a D book at best. Good job on the downgrade SBR. Nice to know that the ratings are earned and not bought.

I was with Bodog for three years and the slow checks were infuriating. The late baseball lines sucked and couldn't parlay certain games. I cashed out $1200 with them in June at a Western Union and I prayed they would get it right. Thankfully they did, and I will never go back.

Excellent post.
Mixed feelings for me. Their lines op and CS op are good, run by strong people. But somewhere in this organization someone is sleeping in their office. Their poker is tops, book software tops and the props like the political ones have been free money. Hate to see a book shoot off its feet because not enough effort is dedicated to the most important part of a gambling business; paying. Hate to see any good book hit with these kind of downgrades right before football.

Bodog will accept money from USA customers in a heartbeat, but arent prepared to have a quick way to deliver winnings back. Maybe they have good intentions, but money talks and it has had trouble speaking lately with many bodog clients.
There are many other books and no need to take the risk.

40 business days for a payout? (just got an email from them stating this).
This is a scam book now. Can't believe they have a B rating.

I'm hearing the best way to withdraw on Bo is Western Union.
FYI, I received a check from ********* and it cleared yesterday. Still waiting on a bunch more though.

biffs, when did u request it and what state did it come from? My last checks came from GA & NV.
Well, today's exactly the 40th business day (excluding holidays) since I requested mine. If I have to wait another 40 days, I'm gonna go postal.

I am funding my accounts for Football season and was about to fund Bodog, a just funded The Greek and Bookmaker last week. This week was to fund Bodog BUT thanks to SBR forum, I will not be doing that. Thanks for the heads up! I do not need headaches. I only sweat the game not the payouts! I quess Mr. Lucky got lucky again. I wish everyone well!
