They stiffed a player out of $500,000 years ago. They also stiffed a parlay player out of about $20,000, would have been $35,000 but he begged and lied to get $15,000 out of them.

Until recently, all of the watchdog sites were in unison and refused their advertising.

BetOnSports Plc Group upgraded; BetonSports from C to C+

I can't comment on this upgrade at all. I don't have anything to do with the upgrades and downgrades at all.

Wow! Just recently BetOnSports tried to screw a bettor out of his winning wager and needed SBR's help to get paid. On top of the STIFF jobs this book has never resolved, SBR upgrades this shit book? No doubt there is something behind the scenes we don't know about like kickbacks. There can be no other explanation.

You might as well upgrade BetUS too.

I think this is their 3rd upgrade in the last few months. The rating does have a full grade subtraction built in for those incidents which will remain. We have been saying for a while that this book has improved and we hope that it continues. The rating reflects the recent improvement but also they could be a full grade higher if/when they settle their outstanding complaints.

I just don't see how they can be higher than D+. That's usually the highest grade you give to books with open no pays that are somehow still open. Time does not forgive debts in this business, at least it shouldn't.

You're right it shouldnt. If there is anyway we can help resolve this we would be glad to try.

We rate BoS a C+, not an 10, or Platnium or anywhere close to "Recommended" status. We want to rate them and all books fairly based on current information as well as past deeds. Its not an easy balance but we try. We even have to look past them hacking and stealing our site with http://sportsbookaudit.com/ because we want to be fair on the ratings even if they are snakes.

I've got to go against the company line and agree with JC et al on this one. C+ is too high a rating with the crap they have tried to pull - some of it recently.

And we can only guess what they have done to players who don't know to take their complaints to the posting forums.

This bogus review site is very amusing - ha ha - but it's also weaselly in the extreme and a sign of scamming minds at work. For that alone, I wouldn't allow them above a D. D is a fair rating for snakes IMO.

C+ is equal to books like BetDon and 777rock who are certainly not perfect but they bend over backwards to give good CS and keep virtually spotless records.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. If anything screams distant objectivity, it's the review of BoS above.

BoS should settle their unjustified account confiscation case and take down their SBR ripoff site if they are ever to be taken seriously as a decent book.

with that being said then john. i too disagree with the upgrade.

i personaly couldn't justify this upgrade at all, considering there past problems still yet to be cleared up. why upgrade them when you if they get the chance, they will probly do it again in the future.

Dan this case is very old like 1999 but it still needs to be settled. The player will not come to us and we are moving on but still factoring this stiff job into their rating. Thats the way we do it, we do the same with Royal even though Tej owns them we have done the same with SIA and even raised BetUS. Because if they improve we upgrade them. Probably no rating method is perfect but thats how we do it.
