Normally not, but this streak is getting so long, they must be having Ether and Opium pipe parties every Saturday night or something...

I'll bet you do. Whereas the OP is calling in to get his limits raised, posters like Durito have to deal with getting their limits cut and betting delays. I wonder who is a winner and who isn't.

Yeah, that's pretty much the response I expected. Wouldn't want to back up your smack with some results.

The adorable part about all of this is that out of all the MLB Posted Pick threads in this forum, Saint's is the one that garnered all this attention (both negative and positive).

You know what they say, you really know you've made it when you start getting booed!

Just ask Reggie Jackson and Alex Rodriguez

Yeah, you've got me pegged bro.

This thread COULD have been productive and a lot of constructive criticism could have been offered but instead it was conveyed in a SMUG, know-it-all fvck kind of way and that's why this thread went down the tubes.

We basically have 2 guys who DON'T post plays telling a guy who DOES post plays how ignorant he is and in the meantime talking down to him like he's a 13 year old whose never placed a bet.

Congrats fellas! You really showed him!

I'm done with the 4th grade shit goin on in this thread.

Good luck on the parlay tonight Saint.

The only "4th grade shit going on in this thread" is posters like yourself defending and agreeing with St. Andrew's infinitely flawed and completely misguided logic.

I have no issues with anything you posted in this thread rjt.

There's a way to be diplomatic and there's a way to sound like a smug a-hole. I guess it takes all kinds.

RJT, what do you have the problem with: the way I make my picks, or my bankroll management? Or both?

The "never bet two games that start at the same time" rule is ludicrous and absolutely indefensible. As one poster said, a set of rules like this, though technically better than just all-out gunslinging and chasing, will only cause you to lose your roll slowly over the course of the season.

I will paypal St. Andrew $50 scot-free if he continues to play 2-gamers only at an average of $80-100 play and his $900 bankroll lasts through the end of the baseball season. Good luck!

My strategy concerning not betting two teams in the same time slot applies if you are betting single wagers using my bankroll strategy called "Heavens Gate". It does not apply to two-team parlays obviously, as I am betting two teams in the same slot tonight.

I don't have a problem with either. I just think you'd be wise to listen to the advice offered from the likes of durito, donjuan, BuddyBear and Hedge, rather than dismissing it because it's not what you want to hear.

Good luck to you.

Because everything they said in this thread is accurate.

I really don't understand the purpose of this thread if you're not looking for advice. Some of the most intelligent posters on this forum -- durito, donjuan, BB and Hedge -- gave you some input, but you're just dismissing it because it runs counter to your own beliefs. Were you simply hoping everyone would agree with your every thought and pat you on the back?

Good one. I guess my problem was betting two games that started at the same time.

In the future, please refrain from posting ridiculous threads like this because it's obvious you don't want any help.

But you're all geniuses.

Those 4 games represent a huge sample size -- you should probably fade that poster every game from here on out.

There are quite a few extremely sharp players here that you can learn quite a bit from (ganchrow, tld, rickysteve, justin) if you are truly serious about learning how to win in the long run.

There are others, many offering advice in this thread, that also know quite a bit (and have learned quite a bit here at sbr) and they are offering you needed advice.

The advice being offered to you isn't just some random punters opinion. It is fact. If you start a thread tomorrow that says 3+8 = 14 expect to get someone to tell you it doesn't.

Your money management system will cause you to lose most of your money even if your handicapping strategy was finding +EV bets (which betting MLB sides at the Greek, it's most certainly not). Whether this happens this month, next month, or next year doesn't matter.

If you don't want to learn (and sports gambling is something that is a continual learning process for everyone involved) then don't post such terrible "rules".

My system sucks so bad that --when followed perfectly-- I never lost my bankroll in three years of continuous betting. In fact, I grew it from scratch many times over.

I did not post this thread trying to convert anyone. I really do not give a shit how anyone else gambles, which is why it is so surprising to me why anyone would get so worked up over my "rules". If you think they are as bad as you say you do, chuckle and move along.

I have been asked several times about how I make my bets and why I wager the way that I do. I posted my entire system THIS ONE TIME so that i would never have to do it again. Do you think I enjoy typing that much shit?!

Here's what I DID NOT do:

1. Tell anyone else to copy me

2. Ask anyone to tweak my system for me

Clearly he was looking to be applauded for sharing his (self-perceived) brilliance with the masses. His plan was going well for a bit, until reality set it in and his "rules" were exposed as moronic, unsubstantiated blabber.

Its obvious this thread is getting nowhere just like all political discussions, but one thing that no one can argue with is playing bases at the greek is not smart.
