Caps an 0-4 tennis day for me, time to take a break.

Well, I wish I knew where Tommy Haas went but it certainly wasn't finishing that match out. A good 1st set win, up a break in the 2nd and blows it, and can't hit the right side of a barn from there, meanwhile Simon just drills everything sent his way.

Some chances slipped away, Haas let his foot off the gas, can't win them all unfortunately. Sorry if you lost money on this, will regroup and try to have a successful semis, finals, Toronto next week.

    Today 0-1 -4.36

They are only units... I just keep telling myself that. Haas looked great in the first set. And as you said let off the gas.

You've still made me, and I'm sure a number of other people on this board, a lot of money. Shit happens...and like you said you can't win them all. I just really hope no one starts chasing and losing even more.

Sorry fellas, but Simon saved my arse today. That's the last time I ever bet 8 tennis matches in one day.

He (Simon) was just the #2 seed.

His rank is 25th in the world.

Haas sucks. Now I'm going to put a dime on a parlay with Blake and Tursunov.

Darn sorry I missed this bud, I'm normally up at 3AM but was exhausted last night.

I have money on Sam Querrey, down one set on serve in the 2nd.. And I am pretty sure I'll be taking James Blake..

    Might even fade Marion Bartoli..

    No prob.

I like Blake, too. Playing some good tennis of late.

You for real? Blake's already lost in 3

Unfortunately he did, these ones were played earlier in the afternoon. On a cold streak from hell, what goes up must come down like the old adage says.

Blake won first set 6-4, then the rain delay postponed the game and he lost from there on.

I didn't even know he lost, was following the tourney up until today, assumed he won and was going on to play on Sunday. Oh well.

Any thoughts on Tursunov vs. Simon? I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Simon beating Haas. Reason enough to root against him.

I'm passing. Simon has a guardian angel on his side. In 3rd set vs Querrey at 4-4 he gave up triple break points and somehow survives, several key points in the match he just blasted some unthinkable shots.

Tursunov on the other hand was a great beneficiary of that rain delay which seemed to halt whatever James Blake had worked up in his 1st set win. All in all I don't think there's much of an edge here and I wouldn't be that surprised to see either player pull it out in 3. Maybe bet the over instead.
