I don't know. Mathdotcom is good with chess picks.

Good luck.

I lean that way, especially if you can find 10, but I don't play CFL until at least week 5.

I think the line is about right. Hamilton is on a short week having played on Saturday afternoon and is without the services of Lumsden whose 7.5 yard per carry average is a big reason for the cats moderate success this season. Smith and Cauley won't be able to fill his shoes. Without a running game their inexperienced receiving corps won't be enough to carry the offense.

With Lumsden out I can't play Hamilton.

I'll give the points and take Calgary.

I was able to grab Hamilton at +10 -105 and I'm happy with the value I got there, but I don't see it as a lock at all. Calgary is a very good football team and I think there's a chance the Hamilton defense can't deal with their WR's. I do think Hamilton will still be able to run the ball and do ok on offense without Lumsden though. The Tiger Cats look like a very hungry team and really need a strong effort after that tough loss in Saskatchewan last week. You do have to consider that they're on short rest though as well.

Also, I forgot to mention, Lumsden being out affects more than just the backs. Since he is a non-import and Cauley is an import they will have to sit another starter in favour of a non-import. This will likely happen on the o-line so another knock against the running game.

Dwaechte also makes a good point. Hamilton's secondary has been very suspect at times and will have a very tough time containing Calgary's receivers.

Hamilton can win the game SU. Coming off a loss they're back to earth, after their shock victory in week 1. How many times does a DD RD win a game 32-13?! This dog has a lot of bite.

If the ball goes into the endzone.....Punting team gets a point called a rouge. Then the recieving team gets the ball at the 35 yard line (but had to give up a point first).....In the NFL, if the ball goes into the endzone, the team just starts from the 20 yard line.

So what do the teams punting usually prefer?

The 1 pt or do they prefer not having the team start on the 35 yd line

It's usually up to the recieving team if they want the ball to go in the endzone or not.

It took Hamilton 19 minutes to get their initial first-down play.
Turnovers! Lots of penalties aren't helping.
Plus the new guys look lost.

Hamilton hasn't looked good at any time during this game.

I'm not usually confident laying 9 - Hamilton is an exception.

Hamilton is still negative yardage more than twenty minutes into the game. Plus a couple of turnovers.

Not only are things not going their way; they're going the wrong way...

Most times they want the better field position for their defence.
