What happened to Sharon Hanam law firm? They get canned? The last letter i got from them was asking if we could settle for just the out of pocket legal fees. Seems JJ forgot the retainer maybe.

He is an ambulance chaser lawyer wouldn't worry a bit.

What kind of an attorney threatens with an injuction by posting on a forum? Mr. Trots your injuction is dismissed. Please submit the $500 fee to district attorney for your case to proceed. No further action will incur unless the fee is paid in full. The injuction needs to be notorized by a public notary in the presence of God. Don't forget, In God we Trust.

I've been retained to represent SBR, John Walker, Bill Dozer, and all parties you and Mr. Gold may name eventually. We will take our chances in court. The mini condoms were never going to sell in the first place. Our motto is, If your client is JJ Gold, a jury will never be sold.

Watch out here. I remember when JJ had a lawsuit blaming sports forums for his sickness and subsequent loss of money. SBR is in trouble here.

If it were my decision, which it isn't, I'd comply with every request Mr. Trots makes. Even if it involves walking over hot coals naked.

I agree, Crazyl. This guy Trots means business. He reminds me of the lawyer from the Seinfeld tv series.

I've know the coach a lot of years and I never seen him hire a lawyer before. Then again I can only imagine the royalties that might be at stake here.

Don't forget hideous, ridiculous and slanderous. Did you see the size of his lower proboscis? To even call that tiny thing a penis is what is preposterous in this case. And the slander, accusing SBR of even considering marketing a line of clothing bearing this man's name. Besides, we have a model's waiver on file.

He is like that woman who burned her mouth on hot coffee at McDonalds and sued. She won. And so will JJ here. He has no claim to the profits of SBR merchandise...and I feel bad starting a thread that got the ball rolling for merch, but if his laywer is a new york slickster,...look out.

While my first thoughts were the same as yours. I did do a little research on this matter before accepting Mr.Gold's case.
One of my colleagues that practices law in Los Angeles just won a ruling on the same principals that surround the case I'm representing Mr.Gold with. The case was Larry H Parker vs. The University of Los Angeles of California, in which the girls soccer team logo was designed by a 69 year old women that resides in Pasadena. The judge ruled in favor of Mr.Parker's client for the sum of 5.34 million dollars in damages.
