SBR Bill Dozer reports: BetUs Bait N’ Switch Bonus Scam
The player completed his six time roll-over on a 50% free-play bonus and asked for a payout. BetUs tells the player that he is classified as a professional bettor and must wager his deposit + bonus amount an additional six times. The player states that he is in need of his funds and must give up the earned funds if the book will not honor its listed terms. The new stipulations would require the account holder to wager as much as $25,000 (BetUs uses the smaller of the risk/win amount to calculate bonuses) prior to being allowed to withdraw. The player was awarded the bonus funds for reloading his account.
This complaint was submitted three days after SBR received a similar complaint from BetUs sister book, Omni Sports(SBR rating D+).

Again, as with the Omni situation, that is unacceptable.

If they want to make special stipulations for an individual for future deposits, okay. But they can't go changing the rules in the middle of the game.

Crookery runs deep in tradition at BetUS. Then a light came on and like with Royal they figured they could make just as much not ripping people off. But all roads lead back to ones roots I guess, hence; another stiff job.

BetUS are nothin but thieves yet a once respected website is promoting them and running contests. And people sign up in droves. Until posters find their integrity and boycott these S-H-I-T sportsbooks, the anti-gambling bill just picks up more steam.

BetUS is extremely successful with their online and offline marketing. Affiliates rave about them (in affiliate forums) as having a competent, helpful, and professional affiliate team with prompt payouts. It's a shame that many webmasters compromise integrity for money

The unfortunate part to both side are that just as players look for sports books not caring how they pay their affiliates as long as they get paid on the player side (bookmaker.com and BWIN are perfect examples when it comes to this.) many affiliates don't care about the player side as long as their paid on the affiliate side (with programs for BetUS, oddsmaker.com and sportsbook.com.)

BetUs will pay well to advertise and they have smart people in marketing and on the business side. On the bookmaking side, they are still cheating players and confiscating winnings. They showed improvement earlier this year but show glimpses of how they made their money in the early days.
