Cant understand the mentality here..Pay the players and flush the toilet, or at least make settlements..50 cents on the dollar and be over with it..with evolution being such a player in the PPH market, eventually it will have to catch up to them..

You need merely extend this chronology back to January--with similar entries to yours for every contact--and you'll have my (still ongoing) experience.
Several payouts went out in early May. At least from what's been posted in the forums a tiny number have trickled out since then. But other than that they've been a deposit-only book since January. Their "F" grade is well-earned.
Thieves and liars, pure and simple.

SBR casino has me barreled in
|
I had 8000.00 I was looking to WDL. slightly before all the no pays. It was like Mid-Feb. Was getting slow paid on Moneygram payouts. They were allowing me to take out 1500.00 a day and the Control # was supposed the next day. I did one and it wasn't taken out of y balance. Call back next day they said give them one more day. I also initiated another 1500 payout so I had 2 pending. neither were taken out of my balance. They ran me around for a week and you know what happened next. I scalped 3200 into another book and lost about 5000.00 in that 7 day period waiting for those payouts. I feel fortunate to get that 3200.00. i only posted up 300.00 in the lifetime of that acct. That run wasn't even from that 300.00 it was from a Kill Carlo contest i won and then ran my balance up from 250.00(contest winnings) to 2K in like 2 hours playing in the live casino. Place was a joke.

You dodged not just a bullet but machine gun fire Burt. Good for you.
These stiff books start with good intentions. They pay a promoter big money to get a base of players. Even in the real world 9 out of 10 businesses fail in the first two years. For sportsbooks its a tad closer to 10 out of 10.
What adds insult to injury is Lazerwager is not OUT of business, they just changed their business model slightly. They just decided to eliminate payouts and now they can turn a profit. Part II of this is when they will change their name and become a different new book and go back to a forum promoter for another shot.

that's it. This industry is done.
Is ANY f'n book paying these days? I mean, what is the f'n point of them accepting wagers if they're never going to pay out? This is SO f'd up. I know I read once that gambling takes in more revenue than all other entertainment combined. Or was that just blown out of proportion?

I am totally fed up contacting these people. It is particularly galling to receive an e mail from them 13 weeks after requesting my cashout offering a redeposit and a new player bonus. I wish they would just own up to having no money rather than soliciting business from new players. Grossly unfair and insensitive.

why don't everyone keep calling evolution (evodp.com) to make a complain, lazerwager could be a part of the owner of the evolutions, just keep calling and demand to talk to the manager or the owner until shut down this stupid scammer.
I hate book making big promotions then stiff the funds from players. F*** them.

Do we as consumers in the gambling ring have any authority to complain about fraudulent activities like Lazerwager?
i know gambling is pretty much an illegal biz here in the USA, but what these guys are doing is fraud plain and simple

They Need to stop the live dealer casino. Stop paying them to just sit there, and pay there players. I have played it a few times and usually there is no one playing it. When i would play it 6 months ago tables would be filled. Thank god I have not won there in a while last time I won there they gave me Western Union Checks via Fed-ex??? Atlease they did not bounce.

I've been with Lazerwager for almost a year. I can't believe the hassles everyone is talking about in these threads! My experience has been decent. I started using them as a back-up, didn't like their lines, so rarely used the book, until March Madness, when I poked 'em for 5 dimes. At that time, I had raked in over 12 dimes playing their casino with live dealers. Thats really the only thing that kept me going back to the site (if you haven't seen it, they have live girls dealing real cards in real time - not virtual - you actually see the cards.... pretty cool... I just wish they had poker). Anyway, my initial deposit last September was $2,000, and balance grew to over $15k by mid-april, so I requested $10k, and got 4 payments of $2500 each. It took about 9 weeks total to get the $$$, but at least I got it. They told me they had problems with their processor hitting them for several hundred grand. I didn't really believe it then, but with todays headlines, its totally believable now. Anyway, I'm not an advocate either way; just wanted to share my story. They're still in business as I play live dealer blackjack at least twice a week. They told me they have a new "line manager" so lets see when NFL starts.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir
Until they pay the players they still owe for many of months. They will always be a bad book no matter how many pleasent experiences you claim to have had IMO.

Ummm... what the heck are you talking about? Im in SoCal... moderator can easily verify my IP address. I didn't even know this board existed until last night. I was checking out how Favre was doing and found a quote attributed to Lazerwager that had him going to the Redskins. I clicked around and stumbled on this site. Like I said, I didn't know it existed. After reading this thread, I found another one on this site that gave me more pause for concern, and I posted a reply there, too.
I stated there, and will now, I'm certainly not an advocate. I'm more concerned than not. But, I've been paid, albeit slowly. I am also keenly aware of bloggers being less-than truthful, when presenting facts. I haven't seen any factual evidence other than my own experience.
With that said, what has given me concern is the opinion of Bill, who, after reading several of his posts' seems to have his finger on the pulse of the industry. I put much more weight in his opinions than bloggers posting pot-shots without presenting back-up.
Take it for what its worth.
