Sounds good. Both pitchers have been better lately than they were earlier in the season. I'm in.

Only reason number is so high is it is a day game in chitown both pitchers fairing better as of recent, Lilly lost 9-2 last time he faced the reds in chicago and will come out looking for revenge, Arroyo is a ton better than his numbers indicate both pitchers have a good strikeout to walk ratio, Last 5 meetings they have not gone over 11 combined first two they went over 11 easy and 3rd combined for exactly 11 but those three games were way back in april

you realize that the only reason is not that its a day game in chicago right? When lines at wrigley field are that high that means the wind is blowing out like crazy there....and when the wind blows out at wrigley more often then not you are going to see a lot of home runs. And both of these teams have a lot of power....If you arent going with the over you should just stay away. It doesnt matter who pitches standard pop flies can get out of the park there

The wind is strong today but that is going to have to mean people are hitting the ball high to the out field, these guys are averaging almost a K an inning and few walks, if their are some homeruns they will most likely be single shots since doubt a lot of men will get on

I don't care about the stats, I was asking for a reason for the selection. I don't think anyone's stupid enough to just take a pick from someone without wanting to know the logical thinking behind it.

Anyway, with the total as high as it is, I also took the under. GL.

You don't need to explain why this game will go Under. So long as you're convinced based on your considerations, you'll be 6-0 after this game. You spoilt my Over play in the Phillies game yesterday. It's like whatever you decree just happens.

I remember another of Topgame's picks in a day game at wrigley with Lilly and wind blowing out (June 20). His call was under, I went against him and took the over. Lilly gave up two homers but only 3 runs, and it indeed went under.

Tailin this...thanks for the under on the St. Louis game last night

Good thing the Cards pen pitched well. Mulder could be done, hasn't been the same since Oakland, but that's to be expected when you make a deal with Beane.

Cubs have been 11 or under total ALL THIS MONTH going back to a late June series with the White Sox.

Reds have been 11 or under total 8 of 9 games this month.

I hope the trends continue, I'm going for this one big.

Good start so far. 1-0 through one, Arroyo is actually doing decently (14 strikes 6 balls) and Lilly is solid. Looks good.

3-1. arroyo goes from 0-2 to 3-2 then moves out of the way of the ball thinking there was someone behind him instead of knocking it down. 2 runs score. doesn't look good, i can't even look right now.

betting unders at wrigley with inconsistent pitchers on the mound is not a winning proposition
