Not bad here this year with the dry conditions. In fact, the zillion bats in the area are starving right now because there are so few skeeters.

Never seen anything like when i was up in Canada, Northern Alberta is where my wife is from and they are BIG and ferocious up there. Woke up in the morning after camping in a tralier and apparently some of those bastards got in when the door was open, had welts on my face and all over my legs.

Why would you pull out weeds at night? Mosquitos are attracted by light.

They aren't moths you nit wit. They are attracted to carbon dioxide and infrared heat exchange.

I was referring to the moonlight. Mosquitos love to feed with moonlight.

We had a wet cold spring in northern Minnesota and they are at about a 10 year high for population. They just found a dead crow in my area today that had West Nile Virus.that threat has been overblown because the odds of actually getting it,then dying of it is like winning a lottery.

If you want to see bad mosquitos,go to Winnipeg and further into the northern Manitoba fishing lakes. They have to do fly over spraying in Winnipeg.Alaska is the worst though.
