I think some things are said that are meant to be jokes that probably border on offenive but its not delberate. For instance: 100 years ago, 120 white men chasing a black man was called the KKK. Now its called the US OPEN Golf.

Is that offensive or funny? If you find that offensive I would unreservedly apologise, I happen to think its just a joke. In the same way, I wouldnt be offended by you if you made a joke about fat people because my wife is fat and looks like a bus. Its just fun.
