Default Nadal +125 against Federer

I just want to make it clear to all followers to the forum that I consider this to be the only play tomorrow. I wish everyone best of luck, but Nadal has been stronger than Federer over the last two weeks (lost set to Gulbis included), and matchus up well against him. I consider Nadal to be the favorite and think he has surpassed Federer (ala McEnroe vs. Borg Wimbledon 1981).

I know Federer hasn't lost on grass in years. That ends tomorrow (probably).

GL to all.

Nadal +125.

I have to disagree. Nadal looked great against Murray and at Queen's Club but Roger has looked better throughout the tourney. I have Federer -1.5 games for 10 units.

Fedexpress @ his home court @ near even money, seems one can't ask for much more than that....a place where he hasn't lost in 40 straight matches (overall hasn't lost in 65 straight matches on grass). I can definitely see how Nadal at plus money is enticing but this is Federer's tournament, Fedex will put on a clinic tomorrow.

people saying nadal is playing better than federer make me wana laugh rite now. ummm, federer has not lost a single set all tournament long, what fukkin tourney have you been watching? nadal playing great, federer playing great, thats it, end of fukkin story. say that nadal has played tougher opponents, fine, but don't punish fed for his draw (djokovic and roddick both lost early) because the dude can only play who's in front of him, and he has kicked all their asses.

fed favored and rightfully so given his grass dominance the last 5.9 wimbledons, 5 straight titles and now in the final again, that is 41-0 last 6 wimbledons, pretty fukkin tuff to bet against that

I was thinking about betting Nadal right here, but after realising Federer is still 60 games or so unbeaten on grass, you can't bet against Roger. Nadal got handed a lesson by Tsonga earlier in the year, and I think Federer will look at that. He also wants revenge and will be looking to thump him like what Nadal did to him in the French.

So, I'm taking Fed here.

Got a grip of cash on Fedex, myself. Of course, I may become religous, and start to pray my ass off. Federer wins Wimbeldon every year for 5 years, and only beats Nadal at Wimbeldon, and nowhere else.
Personally, I can't watch men in nut huggers for more than 2 seconds, that are banging balls, back and fourth. However, statistics say that Federer is da freakin man in this one. God, I hope he doesn't pull a hammy!!!!

I got Rafa at +129 and personally I think the match is a pick-em. I'm just putting a small wager on Rafa because I'd like to see him win and think it's a decent bet.

I got Rafa +130 @ Bodog. Will bet some more in-game.

I think Roger is washed up as far as the majors are concerned. Djokovic is now the best on the hard courts and Rafa on clay and grass. I think Bjorn Borg knows what he is talking about when he picked Rafa to win Wimbledon.

Rafa destroyed Roger at the French Open, completely embarassed him so he is in his head big time. Rafa in four.

Federer has looked good because he hasn't been remotely threatened. It was the same last year - yet there, Nadal was within a point or two of winning 3-1. That was a Nadal who'd been rain delayed all week, and had played several gruelling 5 setters. This time Nadal has had easy, non-delayed matches, and is a much better player than last time round, while Federer is worse. The only salvation for Federer can lie on his serve, which is really firing well, but Nadal proved on the faster courts of Queens that his returning is now as good as anyone's.

Have to make Nadal marginal favourite. Already have a large-ish bet on him to win the tournament, at +400, and took a small cover bet on Federer to win 3-2.

By the way, I still make Federer favourite for the US Open - Djokovic still isn't good enough to beat a fully fit Federer imo. Could get good odds on that if Federer loses today.

About to start.

Conditions are windy, which hurts Federer's serving advantage.

I know one thing, if NFL Team #1 was 65-0 in their last 65 games at home, I would not be betting against NFL Team #1.

doesn't mean shit that you played "professionally" on the tour. i never played college or nba baskets, but i'll DESTROY any former professional or collegiate player in a handicapping contest in either sport, so i will need more analysis than that, let's talk about how well fed is serving this fortnight, or how well he is returning serves, how confident he is on his approaches, but don't give us this "i played the game" bullshit, if playing the game was so key in making picks, then former pros would take down vegas in sportsbetting, not only does that not happen, but former pro athletes are a laughingstock in vegas because of how much they lose in betting sports

Federer first serve at 36%, and he's broken.

He needs 65-70% or he has no chance.

On the + side for Federer, his backhand is looking really solid, handling the Nadal spin very well.

Odds have been crap in-game. I put some money on nadal after the first break and the odds have barely moved since then

Second time Nadal laid down and got swept, on Federers' serves. Could someone explain the strategy behind that? Sincerly, I have no clue.

to win this first set Roger has to break his as* and that doesn't look likely... When Roger is serving he looks dominate with the exception of the one break so far...
