Shrug. We knew the risks. I have to leave in an hour so if the rain isn't fast and Rafa doesn't then win quick I'll have to watch the rest on DVR.

I nailed the live line of Nadal -205 a couple changeovers ago for my full balance.

Now whether or not to scalp at +226

So what happens to the tennis bets if it rains it out until tomorrow?

    They stand as normal.

The only thing that will affect the bets is a retirement. If they finish the match on Thursday (could happen) the bets count.

I've got my full load in two books riding on Nadal. If he wins I make enough to pay the bills for the month and then some - if he loses, I don't want to think about it. I also hope the rain doesn't delay too long because Rafa has the momentum...he's on a roll...cmon baby - poppa needs a new kitchen table and a ticket to the PI!

If you are like me and have a bet on Federer you must be seething inside. All those chances and missed opportunities. Sure, Nadal is playing better, but it's not like he is destroying him. All I know is that we are witnessing a changing of the gaurd right now.

These guys have played 4 times this year and so far Nadal has yet to drop a set against him. If Nadal wins, then, well you have to say he is the best tennis player in the world. He sure is playing like it too....

Nice call Nadal backers. I definitely didn't see this coming at all.....

He is losing and losing badly

I'm seething right now too BB, because Fed in my eyes he is still the more complete player on grass. Nadal has been wonderfully consistent from the baseline and makes some absolutely phenominal shots at times, but he still can't deal with Fed's serve and hasn't been able to take advantage of Fed's weak backhand on his serve since early in the match.

Feds problems right now all seem mental to me. He'll drop an important point or make a bad UE and then let it snowball. He's gone through stretches where he seems to be letting his emotions get ahold of him.

And the over on props from Federer backers has come in. It was 0.5.

Don't feel too bad BuddyBear, Federer has actually been playing slightly better than Rafa today and has an excellent chance of forcing a fourth set. Most likely plenty of tennis to be played.

Do you believe in clutch hitting? I don't so I expect Federer is slightly more likely to break Nadal than vice versa right now.

I have said this 20x Fed chokes against Nadal

He cannot take the pressure and chokes

I don't have my full load but I have a grand on Nadal. I hope he can win this whenever it continues. I have been getting drilled lately so with my Griffin win last night and a Nadal win today things will be getting better.

Yeah, agreed. Most of Federer's service games have been fairly routine a contrast to Nadal who seems to be experiencing break point on many of his service games. FED just can't seem to come up with a big shot. He had Nadal 15-40 twice on Nadal's serve in the 3rd set and couldn't capitalize even when Nadal had a 2nd serve. It's just very frustrating to see Fed making all these UE.

Hopefully he can rebound and take this set and do his best impersonation of Andy Murray.....

I think certain athletes are wired differently and more clutch than others for sure. Compare Tom Brady to Peyton Manning for instance. All these pros, tennis included, can hit the easy shots, can do fundamental things well, but not all can do them under extreme pressure to win or ho home. Especially at this stage.
