Wow, I just came across this site and found it to look awsome.

I checked SBR rating of this and found it was given a D-.

Can someone please explain why. I read some of the reviews here and it seems to be sportsbook.com is the one of concern. So why does this book also get a bad rating.

I am guessing same ownership?

I must say I was really impressed with site

The entire Jazette family of books are going through some massive processing issues these days sir. Some people have been waiting up to roughly 3 to 4 months before receiving there payments.

I do NOT recommend playing any of Jazettes books but have withdrawn over 10k from them over the last 6 months without a problem. Keep in mind they got at least 15k from me so perhaps they're going to treat me a bit differently.

Jazette books continue to struggle making speedy payments but in the end I've never not got paid. I've been a customer for many years. Despite never getting screwed I now hold my breath every time I put in for a check. One time I waited months not weeks for a check which did finally show up. I just hope this book doesn't go down with any of my money. That's what scares me the most about the entire online industry. Some people think they're big shots keeping large dollars in offshore online sportsbooks. I like to do the opposite and get my money out as often as possible. What could be worse than making $$ and having a book get shut down without notice. Folks, nothing is safe in the online gaming world. A handful of books have an A Rating and for good reason but thinking having your money in their hands is as safe as your own bank account is foolish.

I played at both both books, playersonly and sportsbook.com and received timely payouts from them, just as fast as Betjam and any other book prior to that Neteller tanking debacle in early 07. I wouldn't recommend those books to anyone at this point, why wait 2-3 month to get paid, when you can get a check from Betruss or BetPop in less than week guaranteed.

Why would you use these when you can get your money in two days from an A book?

Agreed, A books are the way to go security wise. Just sometimes the bonuses, low rollovers, and other promotions have a way of swaying some deposits in. These books do pay it's just sometimes big enough winners are shaken down for whatever reason, or smaller accounts deemed to be in violation of some abstract rule.

My advice is, aside from the A books if you want a little action, go to Linesmaker (C-) as they have their own customer service center and payout tracker through their courier service.

Killer Lines, 10% reload bonuses, if your a daily better--occasional 20-25% reload bonuses, Good Props, Low Juice , Nice betting interface, and EZ deposit options with free payouts monthly. If they didn't have payout problems or a rating of D- I would take them over any of the books I am currently playing at Bookmaker, 5 Dimes.

All of the Jazette-managed books have shown during losing months that they will skin off advantage players and keep their money. There is no difference between PlayersOnly and Sportsbook.com in terms of decision making. SBR might best serve its readers by making another family name called Jazette-serviced that includes books like BetUSA and Linesmaker that are not binded by Jaz decisions.

Thumbs down

On 6-12-08, I requested a cashout in the amount of 66.15 I have still not recieved my money, in fact I recieved an e-mail today from an administrator at playersonly.com informing me that it would be AT LEAST 3-5 MORE weeks until my money could be processed. Here are some actual excerpts from the e-mail i recieved, without the automated messages.

Dear Daniel,

I am writing to inform you of the current unfortunate situation with our withdrawal processing partners, which affected your recently processed check for $66.15, requested from your account CID 640714841 on 2008/06/12.

Since the UIGEA was passed almost 2 years ago it has had varied success in clamping down on banking transactions involved with online gaming. Unfortunately, as a result of this all of our current processors have found it increasingly difficult to get your withdrawals to you. We have just received notification that the funds which we thought to be processed and on their way to you have had to be withheld until an alternative route can be found. However, you need not worry. As you may have already noticed, we have credited these funds back to your account CID 640714841. You may request another withdrawal right now if you wish, which will remain pending for the time being. Truthfully, at present we are facing at least 3 - 5 weeks until the situation can be resolved.

On a side note, I did indeed check my "account" and was "credited" only $59.50, not what i had "cashed out" which was in the amount of $66.15
Sorry for the huge post, it's just really been frustrating dealing with their unhelpful customer service, and being left in the dark as to what's going on.

PlayersOnly
$700 check withdrawal on 7-6-08
Have called three times. Was told checks take 3-5 weeks! Absolutely pathetic! I use instant e-checks on FullTilt and usually receive my cash in a few days. I sent in my cc/ID/Bill

Default Todays BS!

Hello, my name is Ricky Hudson. How may I help you today?
You: I heard a few players received checks today. Will my $700 request from 7-6-08 be processed soon?
You: Hello Ricky
Ricky Hudson: Hi Brian
Ricky Hudson: One moment please
You: Player ID #######
You: Check ID #######
Ricky Hudson: Unfortunately your funds are part of a widespread delay we are experiencing at the moment.
Ricky Hudson: Please take a moment to read the following;
Ricky Hudson: Since the UIGEA was passed almost 2 years ago, it has had varied success in clamping down on banking transactions involved with online gaming. Unfortunately, the easiest form of transactions to trace and tackle are paper checks sent out to you, our customer. As a result of this, all of our current check processors have found it increasingly difficult to get your checks to you. This is what has caused the delay with your current withdrawal request.

We faced a similar situation last year, admittedly on a much bigger scale, which we were able to eventually resolve. It took a little time and a lot of effort, but we have never missed a payout and I assure you we never will.

So, where does this leave you and your money? Truthfully, at the moment we don't have a definite timeframe for the situation to be resolved. We promise you that we will keep channels of communication open and we will be proactive with that communication. We promise to email you with a weekly update to let you know we are taking the situation very seriously and we promise to contact you as soon as there is any development.

Our agents will be more than happy to take your chats, e-mails or calls but please be aware that you will be kept up to date and have as much information as they will.

So once again, I would like to apologize for this very unfortunate situation. You can expect an email from us within the week to fully update you regarding the situation.
You: Thank you Ricky. Does my $700 still show as processing?
You: Just checking
Ricky Hudson: It sure does, however the delay has effected it... Sincere apologies
You: Cool, talk to you next week. Take care

Christ.....So it's going to be 2 months (at least) to process a $60 withdrawal.....Oh yeah, this seems like a great place to join.....

Default Cash pick-up!

PlayersOnly should use a cash pick-up system like Full-Tilt. FullTilt had some issues with there processor and as a result introduced a cash pick-up option. I hope PlayersOnly finds a processor real soon, because I want my winnings!

Default Pokerlistings gives Playersonly a high grade!

I have contacted Pokerlistings.com and informed them of how wrong they are about PlayersOnly! I consider pokerlistings to a scam partner in crime.

Default Scam artists!

Yea looks ugly for us PlayersOnly guys right now. I think their 24/7 live chat isnt 24/7. It doesn't work at night most of the time. I just call customer service and they give me same lies every f-ing time.
