Lindy's is one of the most well known publications around. Pretty weird you never heard of it and you are into sports?

If you used Phil Steele as ref guide (as well as pags) youll cap 75% of games right, no doubt. That mag is chalk-full of so much critical info that it makes the diff when selecting what games to pick and whom to pick in those games.

I buy the vegas insider news papers at 7-11 and only bet what they say to bet.

I win, like, 87.6% of my wagers.

75%, no way, every serious cfb bettor reads phil, it can help you get to the magical 55-60%, but not 75%, btw, i read it from cover to cover and back again each season for the last 11 yrs

Me too, and let me tell you, in 2005, I went an AMAZING 145-47 capping CFB games man. The most amazing, enchanting, downright indelible betting time of my life. Id make 2k a weekend, I was ****ing raking it in. Of course the 2006 campaign came back and snaked me in the ass, but again I mostly attribute that once-in-a-lifetime run to Phil Steele.

I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday but they didn't have Phil Steele. Phil Steele's magazine is tremendous and worth every penny and then some, but as a handicapper and tout, Phil Steele is average at best....

2005 was a golden yr for cfb, dr. bob went berzerk as did everyone knows what they're doing, i finished 64% on hundreds of wagers, totals, sides, ML's, i was killing it, 2006 and 2007, not so much

that 2005 season had nothing to do with steele, but had to do with the planets aligning and everything going the way it should, teams winning who should win, and by the right margins,

2007 was the opposite of that, where was steele then?

LOL, ive been reading and studying college foots for decades, the runs are attributed to random variance more than a magazine

I'm going to go pick up these magazines this weekend, and study them cover to cover during the baseball all-star break.

    Default check out phil steele

lindys is good but phil steeles preview is great especially in the early season when teams tend to be more unpredictable also he has tons more stats than lindys..., plus you get the nfl preview free with the purchase of the college one...

I'm passing on all magazines except one this year. Steele's magazine is very good -if you like information overload-, but it has never helped me cap a single game. The only reason I'm getting Marc Lawrence's NFL magazine is that he's given out consistent winners for preseason in it.
