I just wanted to say that I'm a customer first of BetGateWay and now Bet4aces.com. It's actually funny how I started at BetGateway as I got an e-mail from them one day with a pretty good promotion. I ignored the e-mail but then my work installed a firewall shortly after and all the big name sportsbooks were blocked by the firewall. They were one of the only sportsbooks that my firewall at work wouldn't block out. I figured I would send them $300 and test them out as I was intrigued by their 5% juice on all straight wagers.
I will say that it seems like I was one of the lucky ones at BetGateWay as I always got paid but I will admit that it sometime took days or weeks for it to happen. I got along well with Henry so I think that helped me.
With the latest owners, all I have to say is that my early impression is that this is a solid group led by Edward. During the transition of BetGateway to BetAces, I had a $1,000 cash out that was requested from my BetGateWay days and Edward personally called me and gave me assurances that he would take care of it. He gave me his cell number and everytime I called him and he wasn't able to answer, a return call would be done within the hour. He personally took care of the payout and called me with the control number.
The other thing I like is the call was costing him money as it was long distance but he took the time to tell me about his other business's, his life, family, etc... He invited me to come see the operation and stay at his place in Costa Rica (yes, it's an easy thing to offer something like this since you really never expect someone to take you up on it but I had this feeling when talking to him that it was a sincere offer). It got to the point of us talking so long that I had to actually let him go off the phone :-)
Since that $1,000 cashout, I've had another $800 payout that was done within 2 business days of my request. As people can see, the website is much more sleeker, they have half-time lines on all games, bets on tennis and golf match-ups that were never there in the BetGateway days.
Will they ever be Olympic or Pinnacle, probably not but I kinda like rooting for this underdog operation and feel good about the new ownership there.
