Hi all,
I have been a customer about a year with 10Bet. They have cancelled about 10 "livebets" for me altogether. All of them with the same excuse: "Dear customer, your bet was cancelled due to a goal scored during placing the bet" If you ever have played livebets at 10Bet, you know they are exceptionally slow in confirming a bet. As a rule it takes often 1-2 min. before you see your bet is "accepted" in a green colour. A short while before you get that message, you can see that the betting amount has been charged from your account(!). Everyone understand they have a lot of procedure problems because of this. 1) Why do they use so long time for confiming a bet? I donīt know any other Bookie using more than 30 sec. When your bet has been accepted, the odds maybe has changed. Thatīs not fair! 2) Itīs obvious they can manipulate the bets, as they have done for me. In at least five (5) of my cancelled livebets, I know my bets were cancelled AFTER my bets were settled and AFTER a goal was scored - no doubt about that as I saw the (soccer-) matches live on TV. 3) The most crucial part for 10Bet is to prove their legal right when they cancel bets, with the excuse I told you in the beginning. For me itīs very hard to believe they have any chance at all to defend that point of view if taken into court. 4) I see just three legal reasons to cancel a livebet: 1) If the odds are mixed up ( 1.50 3.50 6.70 instead of 6.70 3.50 1.50), 2) If there is an OBVIOUS typing error: Odds 20.0 instead of 2.0 f.e. 3) If you place a bet AFTER a goal has been scored and the Bookie forgot to change the odds. I accept a cancellation in type of case, even if itīs not "crystal clear". I have a pending dispute with 10Bet about the "most critical" cancelled bets from their side. I made the complaint via "IBAS" 1.5 months ago, and still not a word from 10Bet(!). Amazing! - or maybe not, as they just donīt have any winning arguments in this battle. "Of course" this is not only my problem, and I really want 10Bet to adapt to other Bookoies regarding livebetting. They have to realize their current solution is not legal. Maybe SBR can help me with this dispute, as I donīt feel 10Bet will give me any answer at all. Thanks! Peter |

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir
![]() 10Bet is notorious for canceling wagers, so I don't feel anyone here would be surprised by that fact at all. I'm not exactly sure if they had just cause to cancel yours or not, because I don't know the particulars of your situation at all. But if you feel you need some assistance you can always feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will look into this matter on your behalf. |

Hi Peter,
10bet has developed a reputation for canceling wagers. Recently they credited some players who have had wagers canceled and we have asked them to revisit previous cases before a re-evaluation is considered. Can you send or forward the details of your dispute to Help@SportsbookReview.com? Your feedback is appreciated and hopefully we can also assist with the dispute process. Welcome to SBRforum, Bill |

The Gambling Commission is seeking public submissions to their review of the regulation of in-running betting. Obviously it isn't the role of this review to adjudicate on anyone's dispute, but some well documented case histories could be helpful to the Commission, and embarrassing to the books concerned. Their (generally clueless) discussion paper refers to problems like yours at 3.35 through 3.37.

I find this very troubling. One thing in particular - they often wait several minutes to confirm a bet. If they are going to cancel any bet that moves unfavorably in those 2 minutes (e.g. a goal is scored), you are in effect giving up 2 minutes. In soccer, 2 minutes might be worth 10 cents on a total, depending on the situation.
This kind of hidden juice is ridiculous. That, and random cancellation of bets. If you are going to deal live wagering, you need good people, and you have to do it professionally. If you are canceling bets on a regular basis, you have no business dealing live bets. |

Can't see why anyone would bet at this place, tbh. Everyone accepts rules allowing palps where the bookie has made a clear and obvious mistake, but 10bet seem to regard it as just a means to extra profit.

Hi Peter,
10Bet has credited your account with 500 SEK and stated that "less than 10 live bets of 500 were void and some of them were losers" and that they "hope the issue will not come up again." Thanks for your feedback. 10Bet claims they have improved efficiency recently. Hopefully that is the case. I still think if customer service can improve and the wagering managers can take a player-friendly approach to their job the book has potential. |

I tried 10bet out for a small amount of money but when I read about them routinely cancelling bets here I decided that type of fraudulently activity was not worth the risk of being stung. Thank SBR for that info!!!!!
I don't like books that have a time delay for in-running bets. You have to REALLY trust the sportsbook in that case. Centrebet do it and sometimes I am left for over 5 minutes while they decide how much of my bet they take or whether they reject it. Sometimes in baseball games a complete 1/2 inning can go by. |

Hi Bill, I forgot to look at the forum due to vacation, so now I know what you meant in your e-mail to me. Well, 500 SEK ( about US$ 85 ) is far below the amount they have (incorrectly) cancelled bets for me, but I thank you for this! As I have had other complicated disputes with other Bookies Bwin ( former betandwin), Unibet ( not listed at SBR, but has a lot of customers, especially in the Nordic countries). Also a dispute with Bet365, even if they seldom make any mistakes nowadays. After all this I can assure you, I never trust a word of their explanation, as they "never" can give you a honest reply why they cancelled your bet(s). The facts remaining: Itīs not legal to cancel a bet after confirming it - with the explanation that a goal was scored during placing the bet! Itīs up to 10Bet to have a secure system to stop accepting bets when a goal is scored. Look at all the other Bookies at the market. Has any of them the same problem? Probably not, and itīs clear that 10Bet do this deliberately - why donīt they accept bets in max. 5-20 sec. like all other Bookies? As I told Bill earlier, IF 10Bet were registered in Sweden, I can assure you they have lost this dispute for 100%! Any UK punters having this kind of problem? If so, you should take this into a trial! Bill: Please emphasize for 10Bet that if they continue to cancel bets ( due to the "unlegal" explanation above) they are not a serious company , and itīs just a matter of time before someone takes legal action against them. I will report if this "cancelling behaviour" shows up again. You have to be tough against the tough ones! Thanks, Peter |

Peter,
If you keep walking into their punch, cheap shot or not, there is nothing we will be able to do. Of course, the feedback is always appreciated. My advice is to steer clear of 10bet live betting. Live betting at some outfits is like horse racing. They get to say when the "event" actually went off and if it counts. It shouldn't be like that but if they are canceling them due to being too slow, it is a poor system. GL! |
