The break even point for point spreads at -110.
Win 54, 55 of every 100 games and you show a profit.

-105 is needed and exchanges and slow moving books...with those its really not that hard to win something.. of course you also need a book that pays! toss in a bonus, toss in player points winning can be done...

slicker, you dont have to win 52.38% if you play at matchy. most games that are -110 are +103, or +102, or +106, or even.. some at -101, or -102..
just play at matchy and you will go from having to win 52.38%, to only having to win 50% to win money..
If you could pick the right side more than half the time, you will retire.

you can say it every day and people still don't do it.......
I saved about 100 bucks today getting beneficial lines I wouldn't get elsewhere...
At matchbook I got under 8.5 in Dbacks game with a price of +115 ... The same bet was +100 at two other books.

rakey, last year, i made 14,000 dollars. i know it's not much... wasn't a great year. but i looked at my books last year and saw that i laid an avg of -101, and with the amount of games i bet, i saw that had i played into a 20 cent line, instead of winning 14,000, i would have lost 134,000...
i saved 150 dimes by playing at matchy. had i lost 150k, i would not be here right now posting..
that's true btw.. i am not making any of this up..
what is everyone waiting for here. (JJGOLD)

Line shopping obviously lowers the vig. Access to Matchbook and Pinnacle lowers the vig. The issue is the sharpness of the lines. I can offer -101 on both sides of a true 50-50 event. If the lines are sharp it is very difficult to make much money and pick a lot of winners.
Thank goodness the lines are soft enough to keep everyone who posts on this board in a life of leisure. |

robzilla is a loser. my bookie hates me he only let me keep playing in the nba finals cause i got him more guys otherwise he was threatening to cut me off. i made over 67k in nba this playoffs alone- he called my run unprecedented- i went 12-3 in the finals alone
