    Default what excuse will you use

    what excuse are you going to use for skipping work thursday and friday to watch march madness ?

    if you guys have some good excuses to use, please post them.

    I'm pretty sure that no excuse is good enough for me to not show up around this office later this week

    When I was in school, i always did the "fake sick" thing with my mom. After awhile, she caught on and didn't care too much. She knew I was better than all my teachers anyway.

    And if didn't work faking sick, I'd go to school and about 10 AM, go to the office and say I'm sick. Not much they can do at that point. Thursday and Friday are my 2 favorite days for the tournament and the 1st weekend in September are my 2 most favorite sport times of the year. Wonderful atmosphere

    If you're looking for a good excuse, bomb threats seem to work great this day and age. Arson is another one. Bring a gun to school or the office and I bet they send you home too.

    I did the same thing. It got to the point later in my high school years that my mother would just let me stay home. I didn't even have to fake it. I also did the same thing for opening day in baseball.
