Question hi, what is the best way to donate to earthquake relief fund?

going to donate 1-1.5k...right now i am deciding between UNICEF and Red Cross.

Red Cross
https://american.redcross.org/site/D...donation=form1

or

UNICEF
https://secure2.convio.net/unicef/si...urce=forexnews

what do you guys think is better? UNICEF or Red Cross?

Your a good man.

Personally, I wish I could donate directly to an individual or family.

I never know where the money ends up when it goes to Red Cross
and such....

True...I would try to find some locals to give it to.

I donate to the local Cancer Society rather than a National one. Spooky knows what I am talking about. If you can donate I think it is a great thing one can do.

I would rather donate to smaller charities where I think it's more reasonable to believe the money is going straight to the source.

Pico, I understand Yao Ming has something going on with regards to providing relief for earthquake victims, and I think his own foundation is footing the bill for all administrative costs so that all of your donations would go directly to the effort. You might look into that.

Donate to Yao Ming's charity. No worries about anything happening to your money, going straight to the victims.

Bet Shooter, SlickFazzer, spooky, crazyl, flyingillini:

i travel a lot and i stay at places in many places across the world, so i don't really feel that attached to any local organization. the reason i am donating to the earthquake relief fund now is because about couple of weeks ago i went to the charity event and i only had like 100 dollars on me. i told my friend that on my next cash out, i'll donate 1k. and i am just keeping my word. since i've been on a really hot streak since then, i think i can afford to donate a little extra...about 1.4k.

i was considering those two websites because they take credit card, so it is much easier. but if yao ming's fund is better, i'll just do that.

It is a great thing what you are doing and if you are in a financial situation that you can I commend you on that. It doesn't matter where you do it, locally, nationally etc etc etc.. I simply do it to my local one because I have ties at the local one and they have helped me in all different aspects. I have had loved ones that have been affected by the disease so that is why I do it with my local one. Doesn't matter where you do it! Great job! Spooky and I have talked about this and he is on the same page with me.

Default Give money to a group trying to do away with the United Nations!

If the United Nations was disbandoned and the world had some better people ''not new world order UN socialist criminals''involved in world affairs where 90% of all donations and taxes weren't stolen and missused,we would have allot less disaster famine and pestilance.

I suggest to find a group trying to disbandon the U.N as a worthy charity to help future victims of disasters.

Coffee Cup Anon was known to go to a disater area to put in an appearance for a few hours and the UN would spend 10K on a toilet for him and his entourage to use for a few hours. That's where allot of your disaster donations go and it's sad.The U.N is nothing but a clan of oversexed and drugged up poverty pimps living the high life.

sickler doesn't exist. a figment of jj's wild and i mean wild imagination. i think he may have actually been on salvia at that time and is really obsessed with one of his ghosts. really just added to his 275,000 post count in 20 various forums the last 8 years. if JJ was born like 20 years earlier, he could have made something of himself. really a sad, trajic story. no one will be at this funeral that of course, the state will wind up fitting the fukkin bill. i guess he pasteure may show up if he's not doing anything that day

They sell Salvia at a couple of the smoke shops here. I tried that about 6 years ago and it was the worst experience for me. It was petty frightening what that stuff does to certain people.
