    Default NCAA Tournament Dark Horse

I know it's still early and we don't know who's in or not, but I was wondering whom you guys are thinking for some dark horses to potentially reach the Final Four.

I'm liking Michigan State early. Yes they have been struggling of late and will probably be seeded anywhere from 5-7, but they are better then what they have shown lately. I really like the trio of Ager, Davis and Brown. Also Izzo has a career record of 23-7 in the Big Dance and always has his team ready to make a run.

Really cant say with out the brackets being set. We need to see the possible matchups and upsets that can happen in the first few rounds.

Im interested to see where San Diego State is going to be seeded and who they play in the first round. They have a good inside presences with Marcus Slaughter and MWC player of the year in Brandon Heath. A good inside/outside tandem.

I'm in a NCAA tournament with 20 guys. You pay $20 to enter. And this is an auction type tournament. All teams are put in a hat and drawn 1 at a time, The initial bid can start at .25 cents. You'd be surprised over the years how many "Dark Horse" teams have gone very cheap, A lot of great teams are overlooked an go very cheap. In case you wanna know the rule is if someone bids .25 cents to open the bidding then someone can go $20 and the team is theirs, However if the first bid is $20, then anyone can go $20 and the team is then put in a seperate hat to be drawn out. As you guys know the best part about an auction style get together is to RAG on everyone else's pick while drinking a couple cold one's. I have been in this for 20 years and this is a great way to get the guys together and have a lot of fun. Any questions on this just let me know, You may want to consider starting one up with all your friends. There is a lot of strategy involved, but there is nothing like the guy you don't really care for getting stuck with his $20 and having to take the last team out of the hat. I know if you win the first round game you get $2 bucks back, Not sure of the rest of the payouts but can get these for you guys Wednesday evening in anyone is interested. I think the winner gets about $200. Mr.Mookie
