Remember the Ravens almost lost to the Bills but won by 3 points.
The Saints lost to the Browns.

Both Ravens -10 and Saints -10 lost that week.

But I do like Ravens this week because the Panthers are worst than the Bills.

well.. since it is a lock, I am guessing 1 loses outright.. lol

hope not, but you called it a lock

The last, near absolute lock that I can remember was that Monday Night game with Pittsburgh/Jacksonville (I think?) which ended 3-0 because of the weather. The lock was of course, the Under bet, if you could get a line.

Seattle flew to arizona, then to seattle then to new orleans... Drew Brees will have a monster day and your crazy if you bet seattle Moneyline here

so you would actually bet like $6,000 to win $1,000 on this? seems like a cool idea. i wanna try it (though more like bet $450 to win $100).
is anyone doing this or does anyone do this type of huge moneyline favorite often? isnt it unprofitable in the long run...

Not for nothing 99% of the people would agree that they are the 2 most likely games to win outright but to lay 550 to win 100 on each game is not exactly the staple for money management .

You said it best bucksfan.... Money management... And the only LOCK in life is that we all we die at some point..

you lose one -500 and you have to go 5-0 on your next 5 just to break even. in leagues like this where everyone is getting paid a lot of money to play the game, upsets happen all the time....

but on the surface- when youre really pretty sure about a big favorite- i dont see anything wrong with taking it on the moneyline and making back a little return on investment. if youre playing the market and your stock goes up 20% in one day then youre pretty happy about that....but unlike with stocks, you don't have a chance to get out when things are going sour. i would just do this pretty rarely.

Just take the ravens giving the points....

Why would you lay these odds in the NFL? Remember Dallas and the Giants. You lose one your hammered

Sure I like locks, anyone likes them.. But I have another name for locks: Trading at Exchanges (BetFair, Btdaq, ...). In Betfair for example, I play a "lock" each day, winning around 10% of my bet.

    Suerte.
