    Default South Africa +10 1/2!

I know this should be in bases but the game starts soon and just wanted to make sure everyone sees it. At CRIS South Africa is +10 1/2 when the mercy rule is 10. Unless a homerun occurs to push it to 11 and more.....I'll take my chances personally.

Is in only a mercy rule if they're losing by 15+ runs at the end of the 5th or 10+ runs at the end of the 7th? That is how Pinnacle are ruling on the game.

I thought it was 10 after the 6th? either way ..I don't think the US team beats them by that much. I might be wrong but I don't see it happening.

South Africa is an extremely young and hard playing scrappy team. They managed to work counts and get 8 runs off of Canada and almost beat them. Biggest game of South African players lives...dream come true. U.S is just expecting a cake walk. 10 1/2 is just way too considerable. everyone should atleast put a quarter unit on it or something.

wish I would have played +150000 when it opened at pin. I know RSA is like a minor league team, but it is baseball.

wow..yeah i'd lay a unit or two on that. really..in baseball anything can happen. granted South Africa has 17 year olds pitching...they have some players with real talent.

Presley, I agree this looks like extra thick icing on a cake that is just begging to be licked off. Probably one of the best values I've seen in a while.

But it wouldn't necessarily take a homer to push the Yanks above 10½. I'm seeing them listed as the 'visitors' at the WBC site on the scoreboard. So that means they could put together a huge top of the 7th-8th-9th frame and win by a bunch since the game won't end until the South African's get their final at bat.

Good point about being the visiting team but to me..the U.S team has just looked like corpses out there...and out of all of the teams that have played in the WBC(i've actually watched about every game on the internet) the teams that hustle and look like they're really giving 110% are Cuba and South Africa. They were hitting major league pitchers the other night against Canada and looked fine. It's shocking how patient they are at the plate.

Man I hope clemens plays in the MLB again. I drafted him on my fantasy baseball team really late in the draft. I also drafted griffey and he is a monster today. Clemens 1 hit with 6 Ks. play dammit play.

Can anyone tell me what the entire record of the WBS is spread wise. There have been some huge spreads when you consider the fact that this is baseball. Usually in MLB every spread is -/+ 1.5. It seems these spread are anywhere from 5 to 10 runs a game. Would like to know the whole tournament spread wise. what is the USA, 1-2 ATS?
