Default Have you ever bet on an event that you had no fuuking

idea what was going on

I have , and just did. while i was out eating 20mins ago a friend of mine was tapping away on his wifi telephone. he bet on St Kilda in the Australian Rules Football League. knowing my SDiego Ov8.5 was a loser I wagered on StK +12.5 -110 over his connection.

wish me luck

Yes, mostly in soccer that is so foreign you have to spend 25 minutes trying to find an online scoreboard.

Good luck on the play.

St Kilda were doing good for a while but the Bulldogs rally at the end of the second, 31-47 at HT Bulldogs.

I remember losing money one night and the only thing on that I could get it back with was cricket so I bet cricket at like 11 at night and thought the match would be quick but little did I know that it dragged on until the time I was leaving for work the next day.The whole time I was googling stuff on the internet trying to figure out the rules and what was happening. Pain in the ass and of course I put way more money on it then I should have and probably took another couple months off my life.
I've bet AFL in the past as well when I had a losing night. Didnt' know the rules either so I had to look them up. Had to follow the game on a gamecast type of thing. Also stressful.
Wouldn't recommend betting either sport unless you know your stuff

no crap , when i got home I found this:

Quote:
ST KILDA has lost key playmaker Robert Harvey and ruckman Steven King before the bounce of today's match against the Western Bulldogs.

James Gwilt and Leigh Fisher have come in as the replacements in a game which is vital if the Saints want to keep in touch with the top eight.

I got somewhat worried as I learned today Portugal's goalie was injured in practice apparently one day ago, but was going based on other information and hadn't really checked out the 'local news' so to speak.

Luckily they won and they were so dominant possession wise not many shots were attempted on them, but yeah that is a definite downside of betting sports you don't follow, can really be out of the loop and left in the cold.
