Default why do sportsbooks do it this way

There is nothing that pisses me off more than when a sportsbook is happy as hell to take your deposit no matter how big, but the want that info on you when you want that first withdrawl! If they really cared so much, they would ask to verify your info before the first wager was allowed!

It pisses me off more when I get my balls caught in the zipper of my jeans.

But I see where you're coming from.

Jenter good point and many books ask you a lot of questions when you want to withdraw. It seems very easy to to deposot but harder to withdraw at least for most books.

Most books will probably take your withdrawal info right at the time you deposit, if you want.

I think the way they do it is alright because, if you lose your money and never withdraw, it saves you the minor hassle. They are basically giving you the option of when/if you want to provide the info.

Some books will only ask for info, if there is something about the account that raises a flag. But I do think if there is any chance that they might need your id, they should should tell you, so you can send it right away, and avoid having thatb hassle when you are trying to get your money out.

It depends on the circumstances. I know all Australian books have to have that photo ID to process a payout as a matter of Australian law. But you don't have to wait until you are asking for the payout to get your info on file.

It depends on the payout method too. I think all books look for verification on payouts when deposits were done by CC. There is a certain amount of sense to that IMO and, again, you should be able to get your info on file right when you do the deposit if you want to.

But if you're just dealing with some lower tier book that asks for this stuff as a stall technique regardless of the transfer methods, I would agree that that would suck.

Books that are doing this are attempting to find an out, they should ask the same questions they asked when you deposited. Its bad business so just do not give them anymore business in the future.
