I'm watching the Cardinals' line on 5D and it's slowly dropping; from -118 to -116 in ten or so minutes. Similar situation to CHC-LAD in that I've seen most people on STL.

Are you kidding me? Arod is the best player in Major League Baseball hands down. He has speed, power, contact, defense, and he is a lot more clutch than people give him credit for.

Please take down your Cubs avatar. You are a disgrace to Cubs fans for calling Zambrano overrated...

zambranos best year is 18 wins, and he lost 13. i am not a big wins guy, but
but a career whip of 1.28 is good not great
a career era of 3.35 is good not great

he is a good pitcher, a very good one
but nowhere near top 5 or 10
    not even close

being a fan of a team doesnt mean being a homer and saying they are the best if they are not
they have a very good team, but zambrano is a very good pitcher
    his numbers show that

arod is the least clutch, least winning player ever
he is a starts machine who strikes out everytime it matters
check out his wonderful playoff career

    he is an atrocious 3b

He's thrown 200+ IP five straight years with OPS+'s of 139, 160, 135, 136, 118. According to baseball-reference.com the most similar pitcher to Zambrano is Jake Peavy.

pedro feliz is an avg defensive 3b. absolutely. i live in sf, i have seen him for 5 years
he aitn chavy, rolen, or crede, the top 3 by a mile.

    i am not a homer
    i dont blindly support anyone
i watch all the teams. my opinions aint biased unlike some peoples

    hint!

Durability wise? You realize not getting injured is part of the evaluation process? Being able to consistently throw that many innings with low ERAs is HUGE. Otherwise Chris Young and Rich Harden are the best pitchers in their respective leagues.

  22. #57

no, chris young isnt close top the best., healthy or not
and rich harden has never throw 35 games, s nobody is discussing him.

so i should count zambrano even though he blows up ever 4th game? but bc he throws 200 innings, that moves him up the rankings?

    i dont agree

But what makes you the man to evaluate a player's defense? I will follow saber stats over 1,000 people's opinions of a player, and saber stats show Feliz is a very good defender.

    dude
its my opinion, you can have yours
nothing i say or anyone says is proveable regarding who is the best 3b
but i have seen them all and i have never seen anyone as good as rolen or chavez

does sabermetrics say youkilis is a good 1b bc he makes no errrors? would you really take him over derek lee or mark teixera or kotchman or another good 1b bc of his fielding %?

Fielding percentage and errors are horrible to go off of. Do you know what saber stats are? NOT RBI, HR, SB, ERA, etc... If you cap based off numbers like HR, RBI, etc... remind me not to follow you.

Collapse, two runs. That makes only 5 runs against the Dodgers in over 35 innings..
