Default The real reason Mo left

You've heard JJ 's explanation...more money, stole secrets, killed the Bash, etc. The real reason we lost Mo is over a contest dispute with SBR Mgmt. How damn stupid is that? Over half the traffic is lost to EOG because of this nonsense. Sure some of the posters are using both places, but the majority of their posts are at EOG. Even though they choose to do this, calling them traitors is wrong. The fault lies here at SBR.

Then Bill steps on what we've been doing and changes it to DSI and MCs work goes out the door and it could have put a strain on that relationship. Bill changes his mind twice an hour on everything. I liked the guy, i do think he means well and he's nice enough, but he just doesn't know how to run that show as effectively as John did. Him now claiming that he had anything to do with it is laughable. he will make improvements, spend money, and then run the mofome contest on sbr again like he had some idea.

Mo was a good guy. I think the real reason he left is why most of us change jobs; opportunity. eog is a much smaller operation. Sometimes thats good. One ends up trading the stability of the better company to get a better opportunity with the smaller one. Hopefully they will treat him right.

Poker: It was Mo's original idea, so he should have been allowed to run it. Like most of Mo's contests, this was hugely successful --64 people competing for the SBR Title. Bottom line is that to lose him and several others to EOG because of EGO is beyond stupid.

I think you have it all wrong Hedge, after Mo left he was told he had nothing to do with it anymore since he went to EOG.

Really don't care who's right. As Mattn put it..."it could've (should've) been resolved".

Mo didn't do any of those things and was great to work with. Those threads by JJ insulting posters should be in the private forum. The contest went great, still is, and will continue to be.

His post is in response to recent request not to use SBR ideas or emulate projects created under SBR.

We will have the contest next month and it will be even better when the software platform for it is completed. Diogee is doing a great job and hopefully he will contiunue to be a part of it!

EOG is a bubble gum shop compared to SBR and MoFo could not handle the pressure here it was just too much. MoFo is a guy you do not want in management because he is too unstable. If I was more stable I probably would be a VP at SBR.

Not as big as they were a few days ago. This is a "biggie". They get Mo and several good posters/'cappers (ie Iwin), and we're left with a Clown and several Ghosts.

Always says the truth as raw as it is.

Presents the raw facts about MoFo and humbly admit his shortcomings.

This is a sign of a true, dedicated poster. Open up your eyes people.

I know. Getting him helped SBR turn the corner. More traffic, more sports' topics in the main forum (what a concept)...and then to lose him over a silly dispute. What a waste!

You said JJ speaks the truth, yet Billy D admitted everything JJ accused Mo of was untrue. Who should we beleve, Bill or you/Glen?

Agree and JJ is just flapping his chops as usuual with no facts.Mo enjoys posting and if he got a better paycheck for doing what he likes, more power to him, don't we all wish we had a job we actually liked? This isn't about an owner dispute,it's about a poster trying to better himself,so if you really think Mo's ok,then just be happy for him and move on.

The fact that people get paid to post on a gambling forum or that someone would want that as their full time job is puzzling to me.

Or that they like to post pic's and videos with their shirt off to a forum of men

Claim they are broke yet keep giving their money away in contests.

Only lowlifes and numbnuts are paid to post. Everyone else has a decent job for a living.

JJ is paid too. If SBR let's him go, then we're back to even, perhaps ahead. Fact is, no other forum wants JJ...even for free.

To be honest Hedge, I rarely read mo's post, he was a good guy, ran a couple of the contests, most of which paid almost nothing to win anyway, and he had a couple of queers who thought the world revolved around him (eg Hedgehog), if you or the queers that worship him want to go to scambook promoting EOG good luck and good riddance, if you want to post at the best forum on the internet that allows criticism of books even if they are paying the bills through advertising and genuinely looks out for sports gamblers then be a member of SBR. If you go to a forum just b/c mo posts there you need help.

If I'm queer for supporting Mo, then what does that make Pavy...JJ's butt boy? I'll remind you that I didn't follow him to EOG like half our Forum did.

HH,

I think the problem with many here is the hypocritical nature of the whole thing. When you bash someone, call them a scam operation filled with scumbags, and then go to work for them, it reflects poorly on ones character.
