Default question

Hello to all of you who's reading this.

I've got a little question here. I would like to know if it is commun to a company to post something free on their website without posting the conditions required?

I ask this because it happened to me today. When i asked for the freebie, i was told that you need to meet some conditions. So, i asked where can i see the conditions. To my surprise, they said it's not written anywhere on the website.

I feel a little dumb about it since i have sent some personal documents thinking it was free all the way.

Hmmm. I'm not clear on the question. It might help if you were more specific with the details.

My advice is to run.

Play with the best, and you will not get burned.

thanks gentlemans for your responses. Thank you Chuck Sims for your advice.

The whole thing is i was little upset about a promotion that was posted on a sportbook which i thought was 100% free because i didn't see any conditions written with the promotion. When i asked to receive the promotion i was told by an agent that to take advantage to the promotion, i needed to meet some requirements. Then, i asked him if the conditions for the promotion was written somewhere on the website and he said no, they aren't written anywhere on the website.

Personally, i beleive that when a sportsbook or any other company is giving away free stuff, they should always mention (post to the public eyes) all the requimements. It would avoid misunderstandings.

Yep, I hate that rider "conditions apply" and they are hidden away. With bookies, conditions are everything.

It may actually be illegal to advertise something and not mention any conditions applicable within the same media. I kind of made that up, but I bet its true.
