Thanks, I will drop that notion and pick a book from up top. 2 out of 2 gamblers surveyed give it a thumbs down. I will pick up one of the recommended books from the SBR review staff. BetJamaica should be ok.

BetJam is the book I'd recommend as well sir. Below is a few things I thought I'd mention about them.

BetJamaica, part of the TheGreek family of books and use the ASI software, which I feel is pretty nice overall.

BetJamaica (SBR Rated A+) is more of a recreation book and does offer nice reload bonuses (10 or 20% reup bonuses/$500 max, with a 4x's rollover), however since they are a recreational book they could cut your limits if your chasing steam and or other things of that nature.

Their banking options for U.S. players have actually improved some over the last few months, because they are now offering Echecks (which is very nice feature these days, but info required to be faxed). Not to mention they do free book-to-book transfers ($500 min) with: TheGreek, Legendz, Pinnacle, 5Dimes and BookMaker and soon Wsex (note: Bookmaker will charge you incoming fees).

The payouts are very prompt really for overnight checks (3-5 business days), and the withdraw fees are actually quite reasonable if you exceed the 1 free payout via fedex per calender month (min. $200/$35 flat fee if you exceed the freebie).

Another thing I should make mention of since we have seen some DDos attacks this weekend is that they have a couple of mirror sites for emergency purposes.

    BetJamaica:

    http://mirror1.betjm.com
    http://mirror2.betjm.com

They also are now offering an online chat service which is always a nice feature

The lines they offer are very competitive with most other books IMO, and the use a dimeline up to -190 in baseball. Which I feel is great!

Here is the baseball vig breakdown and betting options they will be offering this 2008 baseball season.

    .10 up to -190
    .13 up to -195
    .15 up to -200
    .18 up to -205
    .20 up to -240
    .25 up to -250
    .30 up to -280
    .35 up to -290
    .40 up to -300
    .45 up to -310
    .50 up to -320

    Overnight Lines: Yes
    Reverse Run Lines: Yes
    5-inning lines: Yes
    Reduced Juice Totals: No
    Grand Salami Totals: Yes
    Team Totals: No

The drawbacks I do have about [iSBRFORUM]BetJamaica[/iSBRFORUM] is they only accept U.S. currencies

BetRoyal, and arm of SBG Global, recently stole a boatload of cash from a group of posters betting picks from a radio tout. SBG retroactively wiped out six figured from the account balances of about 18 guys claiming syndicate betting...One of the biggest scams of 07.

I'm also investigating a dispute with BetRoyal/SBG. The player claims that BetRoyal took over $500,000 out of his balance right before they were bought out by SBG. To be fair, I have not completed my investigation, but the allegations are serious enough to think twice about this book until this is resolved.

I used to use them 3 years ago and they would ask me why I was withdrawling every time I did, that rubbed me wrong I'd always be like because its my dam money what do you mean why am I withdrawling? I was small time so they never stole from me but they were unpleasent to get cash from but easy to get it to..... I'd steer clear

There is a lot of evidence to look at and it's a very complicated one to sort out. If it can be unraveled, Justin will do it.

SBGGlobal has the nicest, prettiest, flashiest, advertisements of all the books. Maybe the should payoff instead of market. I asked on live chat why they were rated so low by SBR and they gave me a website that they had good ratings on. oscg.com something like that. A bunch of crooks. Thanks everyone for keeping me out of the shark tank.

Somebody trusted BetRoyal with half a million, just goes to show you a fool and his money are soon parted, if this story is true gotta be the biggest theft in online gaming history

They are a total scambook and you should only deposit money that is taking up space and you would've otherwise thrown it away or burned it, they follow the BetUS strategy of invest half the money you get in deposits in marketing and pocket the other half

Here is my SBGGlobal.com story of woe.

I tried to make a $300 deposit with my **** on sbg.com and the transaction was denied since the fraud protection had kicked in on my card from making too many deposits that day. When this happens you are automatically thrown into a live chat with a service rep. The live chat rep on SBG.com asked if I had another card that I could use. I said ok, let's use my **********. The live chat service rep informed me that the transaction had been completed. Looking at my balance, I asked why only $282 appeared as my balance, as I was pretty sure I typed in $300. The live chat service rep informed me that there is a 6% fee associated with ********** deposits, but 0% with ****. I asked where did it say that there was a 6% fee. The live chat service rep responded, "It says some restrictions may apply." lol I replied "That doesn't mean 6% fee on ********** deposits!" The live chat service rep responded by saying that some ************ are treated as cash advance and that there are fees associated with them, and that this is stated in SBG's policies. Now that I look, I can find a page where it says "** 6%" in small print, but when you are at the page with the live chat rep, the page does not mention a fee and of course the live chat rep isn't going to bring that info up.

I told the rep that if I had known that there was going to be a 6% fee, I never would have made the deposit. The representative said, "Sir, you did try to make a deposit with your **** but it was declined." I said "What does that have to do with anything? Furthermore, I could have taken the time to get that **** transaction approved." Finally, the representative was nice and made a one time exception, giving me the 6% fee ($18) and adding it to my account. She said this is a one time exception and reiterated that the SBG policy talks about these CC fees. That was cool of her to give me back that 6%.

Here's the kicker though. When looking at my ********** statement, I was charged $301.69 instead of $300! Where did the extra $1.69 come from? It's funny that you try to deposit $300, get charged $301.69, and are given $282! I've had other sportsbooks charge my CC a tiny bit less than the total amount that was put in my sportsbook balance, but SBGGobal.com is the only sportsbook that has charged me more money than what they put in my sportsbook balance.

*sigh* It sucks that they have to nickel and dime customers like that.

Dimeline has to be worse. Not only do the stiff you when you win, they also stiff you when you deposit. Now that's what I call the shttiest.

Fortunately Clickbank refunds your money with no questions asked.

So cut your losses, forget your winnings (which you will never collect anyhow) and take back your initial deposit.

Remember some of something is better than none of nothing. lol

Tough call between those two. One book has plenty of money but rather not pay and the other wants to pay but is a little lite this week.
