Is anybody else have problems with these books?, both books have lost my pending wagers and vwager has givin me excuse after excuse on a payment issue.....Anybody else have this problem?

I see vwager is rated c here now i know why we shall see

Welcome to the forum gamblingman.

These books are part of the VO Group which has recently been bought out by BetonSports. As part of the merging process, they started undergoing some significant website changes last weekend. I have definitely seen some website glitches - but I have also placed a number of bets and not had any problems like you describe.

They have never been scam type books. I strongly suspect your issue regarding pending wagers is just a temporary glitch relating to the system changes.

I am surprised to hear about payout issues. Other than it sometimes being difficult to get accounting on the phone, I have always found these books to be good on payouts.

In any case, I hope you will keep us up to date on your issues. As I said, these books are undergoing some big changes and that can be a nervous time.

Thank you mud cat, The problem I have here is that i have not been told the truth and keep getting the run around. I have placed pending wagers on baseball and basketball and some of which should have been graded winners ( ncaa ). I see nothing in my account and i get excuse after excuse, this makes me want to rethink the whole offshore wagering thing.

I post here to try and spare anybody my expirence with this book, Too me it has been a horror story. I have been wagering with these people 2 or 3 years and no problem if you take out your money ** and lose a good chunk of your money. This time i choose to take out my money fed ex at vwager and it was supposed to be sent saturday i am still getting excuses on the tracking number for the payment. Call again tonight, i do not need this type of problems and would highly recommended not playing with these books. I play for fun this is not fun and it is beggining to take up all my time trying to straighten out whats going on.... as of now i am still trying to settle this with other means but if i need mr dozer's help i will ask.... looks like a great forum and thanks for the welcome.

Gamblingman, Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to see your having problems with your current book. Should you need Mr. Dozer's help your in good hands. I've had a few issues that Bill has assisted me with in the past. I have never used this book and can not comment on them, however there are bigger and better sportsbooks out there. Good Luck, and keep the forum updated on this issue. From what I see on the site, I would be considered a very small time player. However I have a few accounts. The Greek, BetJM, Pinnacle and Carib. My favorite is Carib and I'm surprised by their "B" rating here at the sportsbookreview. I've had nothing but a positive experience with them, however you can't go wrong with The Greek, BetJM or Pinnacle and of course there are other great books listed in the review section of this site.

Thank you i will keep the site updated, I like to concentrate on the picks and this is a distraction. I would also like to mention that I have worked with a number of sites over the years and have gotten mostly positive results with the books. Most are good and go about business in a professional manner. A couple of bad apples spoil the bunch.

Update on this I contacted Mike Mitchell (BetMill CSD Manager) and i was assured of my payment today 3/10 ups as far as my pending wagers go they have been restored at vwager but at mvp the wagers are still not graded. The 4 wagers i had there were ncaa regular season conference championships and the reg season is over should be graded and i am still calling, hope the payment arrives today as promised.

Hey guys lets close the chapter on vwager and mvp, i did get paid and the wagers are back up listed but waiting for some to be graded ( ncaa reg season conference ) I needed outside help to get all this done so that is not good, I recommend not playing with these books, you don't want to go through this. It also good to know we have bill and the site to straighten things out when needed

Thanks guys, compensation would be great but if you have to go through this its not worth it, i'll just move to vegas or something. I wagered with them for 2 or 3 years too bad it had to end this way. Don't go through it pick a book that is solid here b/c there are better things to do then call a sportbook 3 to 5 times a day about your pending wages being missing and worrying about a payout.

One other thing guys i have 4 future ncaa wagers at mvp still not graded one is ucla to win the regular season conference and the other was kansas. Ucla won the pac 10 outright and kansas tied the big 12 for the title still nothing. I have had to write a email and post this up. This is why do not play with mvp or vwager instead of gambling you will be writing emails callling and doing everything else but gambling.

I shall let you know how this goes

UPdate finally got my wagers graded at mvp. I choose to withdraw the money, first lisa at mvp said you will get the money in 3 to 5 day then call wed or thursday for fedx tracking number, can't even get mike mitchell on the line a recording all day.....damn looks like another week of torture trying to get my money.....plese do not wager with mvp ....I will probably need help with this, have never been through this before with a book

Re payouts, I can tell you that when I have taken payouts from books in this group, they usually say it will take 1-3 days but I get it same day. That's Neteller though. I don't know how that translates to FedEx.

FWIW you may not get it as fast as you would like, but I don't think you need to stress too much.

Second day in a row i had to request a payout, finally talked to carla and she said call tomorrow for the fedx tracking number. I asked her if she talked to bill and she said she never talked to him about any compensation issues so who knows with mvp. I am hoping for the best, if you wager with them good luck with them lol.

OK update on the mvp withdrawal of course the tracking number was not ready at noon today as carla said so nellie at mvp told me to call at 5:00 this afternoon, no gurantees and remember this started monday.... lets take odds at the site when i will get paid this check from mvp lol update later

I've had all my pending futures wager on the NBA disappear too from my Players-SB account (also part of the VO group). I hope I don't have the same problems trying to cash my winning wagers. I talked to CS and they tell me to call after the season is over and let them know my winning wagers and they'll look them up for me. They tell me this occured with everyone's accounts there and they'd have to go through thousands of accounts to pull up these pending wagers but how come more people aren't coming forward with this complaint?

I have no idea darkghost but it is not a good feeling to see your futures disappear, not only did they disappear they graded them late. They finally restored mine and paid me but it took a lot of trying and runaround and it is not worth it, stick with a book that does not give you the runaround. Bill is a great place to start for help he'll get it settled. I hope some day the people at mvp get the treatment they are giving other people and they will know how it feels.

If they have a problem with their new software system all they are doing is giving people more anxiety about it instead of helping them and fixing it. The problem has gone on far too long good luck with it i'm sure it will all work out.
