Default This Bruce kid from Cincy is something serious.

Anyone keeping up with this guy? Watching the Braves and Reds the past few days, I have seen how good this guy is starting off. I think hes batting over .500 to start his career? Couple homers and a lot of clutch hits. Is he gonna be the real deal or is it beginners luck?

I'm a click away from grabing him for my fantasy team, but as you stated can this type of production continue?

I'd have to give up either C.gomez from MINNY or R. iabaenz from Seattle,
to do it or not, as i think someone else will take there shot with him if i
    don't take him asap.

If you even have to contemplate giving up one of those clowns for Bruce, you are a moron.

Bruce is already one of the top 5 outfielders in the MLB. He's a legit 5 tool player and a future MVP.

Funny thing is, if Cincinnati would have kept Hamilton, they would have had the greatest outfield of all time.

Griffey - best player in the game from 1990 - 2000,
Hamilton - best outfielder in the game right now
Bruce - will be the best player in the game soon

You are going out a little far on the limb there 2pac. I wouldnt dare call him one of the top 5 outfielders already. Yea, hes playing well right now and looks like he could be a top notch player but Ive seen this happen before. I do feel however this guy will be the real deal but hes gonna cool off soon.

Even with cooling off there is absolutely no way he should be on waivers in any league. Gomez or Ibanez should be long gone.

Yes, he will cool down (can't hit .590 all season), but his .364 batting average in 184 minor league ABs should give you some idea; the kid can friggin hit. Even when he cools off he will still be a good to great player this year, and an elite player down the line. Putting up Ryan Braun-like rookie numbers is NOT out of the question.
