    Default Anyone see the spelling bee where numb nuts came up as a word?One for the ages.

    I'm not going to Google the real word that the head hancho of the spelling bee asked the kid to spell but it sounded like numb nuts and the crowd broke out in laughter when the kid asked if it was numb nuts.Did anyone hear or see this?Anyway,the word meant saddle cloth and was pretty obscure.

    So what are the odds that a kid of Indian or Pakistany heritage or someone home schooled DOESN'T win the spelling bee?200-1 maybe.

    i don't know the odds on this thing, but i think there is/was some kid from ky in it this year who was home schooled, i think i seen an article in the paper, but i didn't read it.
