    try saying, the least successful.. just go to the track and all you will see are whinos and people who have lost everything.. It's the biggest hold % the book can ever have. It rakes in 7x more dollar for dollar on every bet than bases.. there's a govt run track here in this city and they say they make 200 million a year profit there.. they make 16 cents to every dollar, whereas in baseball, books make 2.5 cents on every dollar bet.


    You're better off going to the casino and play the slots believe it or not... your odds are way better in slots than horses..

    No disrespect to Richkas, but I do not know how people can make money on the ponies. Does anyone show long term profits betting the ponies, grinding out a profit..?

    the info might be good, but the commission you are paying is ludicrous and impossible to overcome..

    the govt tracks take in 16% per year here..do you have any idea what that means, richie?


    it's almost like playing into a 40 cent line in bases.


    if you have great info in baseball too, but the lines are all, -160/+120....... -140/even.... do you think you can beat this? even if you have great info, you can't win.. the commission will just kill you..

    and that is what you are dealing in horses richie..


    richie, stick to sports, man. your chances are much better. you have ZERO chance of beating horses over the long haul..

    funny you mention this out of my last 10 golf picks only 3 lost,also exept for the masters week every week has been profitable in the pga so far this year
