The correct spelling is "jonesing".
It simply is to have an eager or intense desire.
EXAMPLE: The college student was jonesing for caffeine.
I believe that the etymology of the word intended an addiction relating especially to heroin. Hopefully you are no longer jonesing (eager) to know what "jonesen" means!
