This is what I'm saying. Boston will be favorites for the first 2 home games. So how great is it that you get them at +170 for the series?

easy play for game 1 really. take boston minus the points. lakers lost to the spurs in game 3 which was the first game in SA and they pretty much shut them down. celtics are much better defense especially at home. usually the zen master blows the first road game but he is the mastermind of changing his strategy for next game.

Um, I'll take Lakers +4 TYVM. I think if I can get Lakers +170 for g1 (unlikely) I'll jump on that.

And the 4 has been hammered to 3.5 at Greek. I know I did my part.

Umm, I'll take Boston at home and not have to give up any points. Thank you very much. Boston+money for the series and they just found their groove on the road and they have home court. I'm in!

The play here is take Lakers ML in Game 1, and if they lose, take Lakers ML Game 2 for an extra 1% of BR. By making the Lakers such heavy favorites in the series, the books are basically TELLING you that the Lakers will win one of the first two games in Boston.

Everyone keeps harping on Boston having "home court", but the fact is it is the LAKERS that will have home court advantage through the first five games, so if LA does steal one in Boston, I think Lakers don't lose at home and win it in 5.

And if Boston wins the first 2 at home, the series is over. Boston can win in LA.

If Boston wins the first two games, I will be out 6% of my BR. I am EXTREMELY confident that the Lakers will steal one, but I've been wrong before. Once. I think it was a Tuesday.

Thank God, they play on Tuesday. Maybe history will repeat itself.
