Pico, these do or die games usually result in many more second half points than the rest of the series, desparation mode, move it up court quicker, lol.

But you are right, it IS Boston and Detroit.....

do or die games do not have more points, where did you get that from. Elimination games go under 60% of the time I would guess

dude, I don't follow NBA nearly as close as other sports, but second halfs in do or die games have relatively many more points than the rest of the series. Total fouling at the end if there is an inkling of it getting away from the down team....

you are right about that aspect, playoff games in general and i guess slight accentuated in elim games do have more late game fouling when their is no real chance to win. But you will be lucky to get 75 points in the 1st 23 minutes

Players are more antsy and tense when shooting with whats as stake, and a lot more defense all over than regular season games against the clippers/bucks/etc.
