Angry What the hell is this SBR????

Is everyone in this country brainwashed by the University of Michigan or is it just me???? If you ever grow up in Michigan you learn early of how great scUM is and how presigious it is and so on and so forth. Yeah it is a nice university but no better than many others out there. I mean what's the deal here SBR....There are other universities out there you know.

As they say in East Lansing

I have to plead ignorance on this one. Here in Toronto, I don't notice Michigan getting any more special treatment than a bunch of schools I could name.

Go U of T Varsity Blues!

Mudcat...if you grew up in Michigan you'd know exactly what i mean. Anyone who grew up in Michigan would say the same thing. It's a nice university but nothing extraordinary like they want you to believe. The student body there is brainwashed like no other. Basically if you don't go to the scUM people look down at you as if somehow you are inferior or a second class citizen.

That's why Tom Izzo will forever be my hero because he stood up to scUM and beat them at their own game when they were the hot ticket in town and State had a bad b-ball program...he embarrasses them everytime they play now and I love it. Unlike that coward Nick Saban who left East Lansing in the middle of the night on a private jet out of town to accept the LSU job and then told the media he was sick of playing in the same state as scUM and knew he could never beat them and recruit against them. I couldn't believe he said that...i was so pisseed and have never forgiven Saban and hope he goes 0-16 this year.

Tom Izzo for standing up and building a program and not secretly leaving in the middle of the night :an_cheers

Michigan looks tough again this year but their defense is probably only 4th best in the Big 10. That could be a problem. Their offense looked great at half speed last week. Lots of talent on offense.

Oddly enough the Spartans have similar strengths and weaknesses. I'll root for them...probably wont help but couldn’t hurt.

Actually I think they are in a good spot this week....should win by DD in my opinion. You don't see too many spreads this low at home for scUM. The line opened up at -14 over the summer and based on one games worth it has moved an entire TD???? Take scUM at home with the points.

Anyway, you guys are missing the point of what i am trying to say. The point is they look down you guys. They are by far the most arrogant pricks...they aren't impressed in less you go to like Yale or Harvard as they consider themselves the Harvard of the Midwest. There is a big sense of entitlement in Ann Arbor

Most of them are very spoiled...i mean just look in football. Year in, year out they want Loyd Carr fired who I actually like and think has done a good job there. That's how spoiled they are b/c they think they should never lose a game.

One thing is for sure, I'll never let my kids there lest they turn out to be arrogant know it alls.

It seems like they lose 2-3 games every year and always make a BCS game. Top tier books always get the benefit of the rankings system.
