Default Will any other coaches learn from Doc Rivers example tonight?

I never thought I'd live to see a coach up 3 intentionally foul the trailing team. That being said, will any other coaches learn & follow his lead? I'm posting:

    Yes +1000
    No -1200

He did it because his ass knew he absolutely had to.

Hell, he should've pulled a hack-a-ben game 7 vs Cleveland with 3 mins left to extend the lead, but didn't and Cleveland came within 1...I figured he just didn't want to win like that.

I'm still impressed that he "knew".

Puts him light years ahead of Calipari, that's for sure.

Even Phil Jackson made that mistake two years ago when the Lakers were about to upset the Suns. Jackson decided not to foul and the Suns hit a three.

I've always thought that it was some kind of collusion in the NBA, like they want more exciting games so they've told their coaches not to foul in the last few seconds with a three point lead.

Who knows but if the Zen master doesn't do it, there's something really wrong.

Right....something really wrong...with him! Most overrated IN-game coach of all time.

But the hall of fames in all sports are full of coaches who didn't understand simple probability.

Don't remind me about "Calamari" as OF would say, please.

That piece of trash screwed me.

Could it be the one-word abbreviation for "Mr. Big Shot"?

a win is a win. that is a smart thing to do. but it wasn't good for my bet, i got celtics spread and was rooting for OT so celtics might have a chance to cover.
