Default Has anyone ever got in trouble at their job for gambling?

A couple of years ago the boss came in my office when Pinny was posting the NCAA basketball games for a Saturday card. I did not even try to hide it. I was carrying on a conversation while simultaneously clicking in bets. He never said a thing about it. Hard to believe that with 20+ years of sports gambling in no employer has ever said anything to me about it.

I work with a bunch a women so they don't know the difference however the few men I have worked with have questioned me when talking about games and I say something like it will be a low scoring game and Boston will win by ten. A gambler can spot a gambler and I do hide it.

They block almost all gambling sites at work. I haven't found a proxy to get around it yet either. It really sucks.

I'm an MFG Engineer. I try to stick to my breaks when going on gambling sites, however that is not etched in stone.

try co call customer service and ask Tech support to give you the IP address so you can go through the web sense block, or try to make a connection with an IT in the company, they can give you the access through the server, maybe you take them out for lunch couple times and asking his favor, that's how it work with me

Just about everything good is filtered out of the internet at work. I use my laptop for this very post and to surf the underbelly of the internet for all of my flagitious needs. If the company doesn't like it, they can find someone else to run the department, cause I can freelance this stuff also if I need to.
