He didn't say "it's all Bill's fault", but if Willie isn't opposed to animated avatars (and he's said in the past he isn't). I know you personally have used a few animated avatars, I know Illusion did, Ganch has, BBD has, so I'm pretty sure even most of the mods and staff are either impartial or in favor of them.

I really think this one is just Bill's call, and I'm unsure why he hates them so much. The initial sticky said member feedback was against them, but in each poll done members were in favor and there's been no official poll done. So I am just curious to hear why Bill doesn't want them.

Those kind of little potshots really don't accomplish anything, whereas the questions I'm raising have been asked by several members, all who are (including most SBR's own staff) in favor of animated avatars.

'potshot'? Perhaps they may clue you in as to just how much you are actually aware of? Certainly you can question the productivity of a 'potshot', but i believe you to be the one who uses them more frequently than any other SBR poster. Perhaps i as just trying to 'speak your language', sir.

As an employee of SBR, I don't think it should be when someone just wants the official reason as to why animated avatars can't be used. Willie gave the best answer he could, that's fine, it came from the top. I guess the question then is- what was the reason it came from the top?

1) Are you the one who dictates the time and 'way' to use them?
2) As a heterosexual, i could give a fuck what you think.
3) We don't have animated avatars here, go spend time with your family and stop worrying about it.
