I'm mostly wondering if anyone has ever been banned from 5Dimes or Bodog for winning too much money. And if so... how much did you win?

I was banned from placing online bets at Bodog years ago. I was betting the max and had a winning streak that netted around $10k. Only phone bets were allowed. The lines would always be shaded a half point against me on the phone once I told them which side I wanted.

So when you get banned what do you do? Just change to another book but sooner or later if you keep winning you just banned from everywhere. So now the only choice is fly to Las Vegas. With all the people loosing everyday you would think these big books could handle someone hitting them for 30K in 1 month.

If you hedge enough scalp bonuses have multiple accounts or hit them over the head with a hammer, other than that if you take them for a few grand every so often you should be fine.

I like to middle and hedge sometimes so during commercials I'll relentlessly pound the site until they post the in play lines. Then again I haven't won more than 50 dollars on a single bet yet.

I closed my account at Bodog, but I've never been banned from either 5Dimes or Bodog. I never could really win at Bodog. I could imagine Bodog cutting someone off if they kept winning.

Not "banned" but effectively the same thing when they limit you to amounts which are just a waste of time bothering with them any more.

nothing genius about taking a bookies best lines but you will be closed down with all bookies (eventually) if you do. i am severely limited at bodog pre match but can get a few more £'s on inplay

You really don't have to be that good to get banned or limited from some of these Mickey Mouse books like Bodog. I'm certain I wasn't even up 5 figures before Bodog rendered themselves useless for me.

I had bodog force me to a $10 max same story as many above i won 15k in like a weeks span. I had a friend however win slowly over time upwards 100k in three years and never have a max its when you win fast they put the max on you or at least thats our theory.

I'm sure they worry more about people winning big quickly and cashing out than guys who play steady. They figure if you keep betting, they'll get it all at some point.

If you are legit and you are hitting them for 2 or 3k a week for several weeks maybe but I do not know anyone that good, 5dimes has bucks to cover your cash outs if you are winning ten of thousands of dollars go to vegas.
