If you lived in Costa Rica you would know that everybody knows everybody specially in this industry and after being in it for over 8 years its not hard to know pretty much everyone around.

I dont run the city not even close , that dont mean I dont have friends .

But then again how does that make me different from any of yous?

You all have friends that help you out if it is needed.

    JJ

I am not a big shot , but in this town if you dont know the right people then you are an outsider and will not move up in the world.

I do alright I told you about this before.

Guys , life is cheap down here.

With $1000 you can rent out a brand new , condo , private security , pool, BBQ area , 2 stories with a view , 3 bedrooms , jacuzzi , in a very exclusive area.

It dont take much to have a good life here if you are willing to put in the hours.

Dont take my word for it.

    Look at real estate here

exactly what I am saying , down here you can live good and have a very righteous lifestyle with a very low budget .

In the states what would make you lower middle class , you high class here.

Thats why so many people move down here.

I hear it is easy to get job in CR if you speak good english...

and yeah 1k/mo. there is different than in USA.

Outside of the sportsbook and tourism, what are the other industries a guy could get work in?

Like I said if you really dont kniw many people , then your probably gonna end up clerking and on a sunny day you will get paid $1500 a month.

Real money is in real estate and in the sports industries but since we have been around for such a long time books really dont hire people without expiernce anymore at least not starting off on a good wager.

So if you have been in the industry for a while and you do your thing on the side.

You can make from $4000 to $25,000 k a month
which $5000 a month here is equal to $125k to $150k a year in the US tax free.

A condo like the one in the link I posted will go for about $120k if you put $35k down .

You can have that for about $900 a month for 25 years .

Its hard now for the new comers I am glad I started in the industry when I did.

In costa rica when people see a young guy , well dressed , with money in his pocket and having fun.

9 out of 10 will say he probably runs a book.

    And you know what???

    HAHAHAHA

    THEIR RIGHT!

I feel like moving down there and retiring right now. I could officially retire if I sold my property here. The only problem is I don't want to live in a 3rd world country. It is nice though!

I don't know who SSLP rolls with down in Costa Rica, but we know the same people up in NYC. They're definitely not chumps, and most people would cross the street if these people were walking towards them.

Costa Rica isn't much of a 3rd world country anymore with all the americans moving there as of late.
