Default The Number one LB recruit in the Nation is from...

Hawaii (Honolulu (HI) Punahou). It will be interesting to see where Manti Te'o ends up.

Yeah I was just saying I'd hope he'd do the right thing and decide to go there is all.

I wouldnt be surprised to see him make a visit to the OSU/USC game and get a better look at both of those elite programs. With Dorian Bell already signed at OLB, the Buckeyes are well on their way to replacing what they'll be losing this season. Last season OSU picked up the No. 1 ILB in the nation, a guy named Etienne Sabino from Florida...he should find his way on the field a bit this year as a true fresh. hes a freak of nature.

He's a better fit at Colorado, who has a history of doing more with less at the LB position. Also CU has quite a few Hawaiians and Polynesians on the team and has recruited Hawaii well for a long time.

Laurinaitis and Hawk were both 3 star recruits and each will end up being top 10 NFL picks.

Col LBs put up tremendous numbers last year, but part of that was due to the worst defensive line in the history of football. That was one slow defense.

Dizon was a 2 star out of high school (in Hawaii) and turned into an AA. And the DL wasn't bad, just the DEs. Hypolite was an all-Big 12 DT and Nicholas was pretty good too.

Dizon was a 3 star recruit according to rivals and wound up being a 2nd round pick. def a good player, but not the same as 2 3 star guys turning into top 5 picks. Col is on this young mans list and showing them the success they had with Dizon is sure to lpay a factor in his recruitment. there is no doubt that the two know each other.

This guy would look great in Scarlet and Grey

Laurinitis posed for a huge year, kid is something else.

Penn State and OSU, they sure have had some great ones at LB through the years.

If was a QB, I'd go to USC. If I was a RB, I'd go to LSU. If I was a LB, I'd go to OSU. Ya dig?

that is interesting, but here is what he 'is saying'

"Tennessee is definitely a school I am considering," Te'o said. "I don't really talk to the coaches my dad does and he has talked to coach Adkins and to coach Fulmer some. Right now, it's an even playing field. I will have a final five this fall. My family is very involved and will help me find the right place for me. Distance doesn't matter to me, it's about finding the right place. This is a long process and I want to make sure I find the best fit for me."

I would say there is a 1% chance of Utah/Hawaii combined. I know this kid is not all about the hype, but the allure of the larger schools will get to him once he starts to make his visits. The vols have pulled 3 guys out of hawaii recently, i hope this kid is the 4th. where ever he goes, im sure they're getting a great player and a great kid. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

as you mentioned, BYU/USC are probably the 1/2

UCLA and USC will have some interesting recruiting battles out in Cali now. The UCLA staff, now including Norm Chow, will give USC a run for their money with some of the better players in Cali and even nationally.

Pete Carroll and USC cheat so bad when it comes to recruiting. Its like because they are way out west the NCAA ignores the violations.
