    Default $100 into $700 in 1 week?

Alright boys, I need to turn $100 into $700 in order to payoff some summer traveling debts. Now, of course, I can live without doing this, but it would be kind of nice to get this cash. I begin traveling next Sunday, so I have less than a week to do this. Anyone want to help?

First off, a few methodological questions: should I stick to parlays? If so, how much should I wager: $10 to win $20-$30 per wager?

I was near my goal last week but I laid major chalk on Pistons/Celts game 3 and lost big (for me). I took the Pistons ML and they ended up getting blown out.

I've been looking at parlaying some Tennis matches -- anyone got some crunk underdogs?

Put it all on the #1 horse in RiverDowns 5th race and thank me later.

Nice Richie, nice. All of it? What about keying the #1 for a tri (with all) or something?

Are you thinking ML or the minus?

Don't wager everything on one event, NO MATTER HOW SURE you are about the outcome.
With parlays, you risk losing even more.
If I were you, I'll wager on 3 events each day after careful research.
For a start, Lakers/Spurs 1Q UNDER 49 isn't a bad idea. One expects the game to be a near-repeat of the last game. Mind you, 1Q UNDER has been more like the rule in the playoffs when at least one of the teams plays defensively.

Nice advice, I'm going to do some research and consider 3-4 bets today. So far I'm not seeing Rich's horse on Bookmaker's racebook. Maybe they'll add it later.

I only made one bet tonight and lost it. I was going to make more but I didn't have the time to research. Though I said I was starting at $100, I had some parlays that were still in the works for tonight and some of them hit. So, my current bankroll is: $114.97. However, there are no parlays in motion so any bets placed will be posted here and the results tracked. Now there's a clean slate with no Open Bets.

Still going for $700 by Sunday... I think in the morning I'll parlay a bunch of favorites together to try to get some easy money off of tennis or something and gear up for evening basketball. I'd like to get up to $150 by the time I make evening bball bets.

BTW -- did Richkas' horse hit today? I only use Bookmaker and it didn't offer River Downs as an option so I passed...

Yup. It's true. The larger the bankroll the easier it is to win, I think. However, this money isn't a need -- it's just a goal to work towards. I like having a set goal rather than no end in sight.

Agreed... But thats how the best "pro gamblers" make so much money... they get about 4 good knowledgeable guys to form a syndicate and away they go!

So it looks like I'll win the 1H bet (thanks BOT) -- I'll probably put that $10 on a 2H play. I'm kicking myself for not taking Pistons ML for a few bucks as well. Damn.

My god now I have nothing for the 2H. This ****ing sucks. Pistons are a bunch of retards.

Yeah, it appears that way. How many you think? 1 a day given this bankroll? I usually work with around $500 at a time so I can break bets down into adequate units...with less than $100 it's difficult to manage, especially with a set goal of growing the bankroll 7x.

It's pretty funny that my "Best Bet" posts are 7-1-1 now...maybe I should just stick with one a day.

Whatever amount of games you are confident on and you would put your dick on the line

There are some guys that bet alot of games and win

In my opinion it is harder and the juice will eat you up

Just do one bet a day, theres a game everyday. Curious what site you playing on and when you trying to make the 700 by?

Yeah, sticking to one bet tonight. I usually win my large play but lose a few smaller plays that add up -- that's always the problem.

I wanted to make the $700 by Sunday, but that aint happening. Now I'm just going to keep going until I lose this bankroll or work it up to the goal, even if it takes a month. If I lose it's not a huge deal, I just won't be gambling until the fall.

Okay, need some advice on tonight's Lakers/Spurs. I'm going to risk $50 -- but should I just take the OVER straight up to win ~$38 or parlay it with either the Lakers or Spurs points to win ~$90?

This is huge for me -- if I lose this $50 I might just pullout altogether.
