    Default Spread Betting

    Hello All,

I represent a group of executives formerly employed by some of Britains biggest index firms:

    www.igindex.com
    www.sportingindex.com

They wanted to gauge the demand for Index Betting here in the states. I would be interested to hear your comments on it. It is a very exciting form of gambling/trading.

    Thanks,
    William Casher

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir

I'm not sure if a lot of our posters really would be interested in this type of wagering concept, but I'm kinda curious to hear some feedback on it myself.

Damn....yeah, lets package each game together get a Goverment to approve it as a legal "investment" and then sell it to the Amercans just like Mortgages.

    Shit will by anything!

I dont understand the mortgage analogy. Its not being marketed as legal. This type of wagering is huge in the UK, and as you know a lot of trends are successful on both sides of the pond. I thought I would get a more intelligent group of responses, quite frankly. Thanks anyway.

here is the formula that i come up with spread betting:

forex + crack = sports spread betting

the greek has it, and you have to phone it in, so it is a hassle. is there an internet wagering based sports spread betting site?

I cried the day that SportingIndex shut its doors to US customers (post-UIGEA).

That should give you the answer you seek, sir.
