    Exclamation Sidney Ponson

How long before this guy starts giving it up like a crack whore in the alley next to jj's house. Three teams in three years and heads usually bat over .300 on this guy. No way I'm laying -190 on The Rays......but Sydney is due for a fanny whooping.

Ha. I hear you, but things might be different for him now. He's got a sinker that is working, and when a sinker is working it can be the best out-getting pitch around, you don't even need to have a great fastball necessarily.

Hitters say when Wang is on, you know what's coming and it still doesn't matter.

Give the guy some credit, he's given up only one HR in 39 innings, and most of that has come at Rangers Stadium. If that's due to variance, that is some big-time luck.

Agreed he looks pretty legit right now. I think the era will go up to the mid/high 4's, but I don't see him ending the year in the high 5's or 6's.

No doubt the guy is ballin' right now. Question is....for how long. I remember when he was on the Yanks for like two games.....kid couldn't make it out of the 2nd inning.

i'm was debating laying a little on Tex., they have been swinging the bats good lately, but they generally suck on turf, they have hit .326 L10 vs. TB .277 L10 and Tex. has hit .272 against LH L10 ,but TB has hit .292 L10 against RH, and TB has one of the best pens, and at home, but Tex. L10 their pen has an 2.70 era vs. TB's 4.18 L10.
i still think TB should win, but i ain't touching it.

Guys help me out here. What was the name of that guy, spanish...pitcher. Real loud mouth. I think his last stop before hanging it up was the Mets two or three seasons ago. It's killing me, can't remember his name. A real gas can, excellent fade. ??????

No. He was a real loud mouth, smack talker... shiny bald head. He was good early in his career. Doesn't play anymore. Made the rounds to various teams before washing out. He would pump his fist and scream just about every time he struck someone out.

Well I put some on Texas. +180, that's a nice price.

Kazmir often doesn't go too deep into games. If he goes 6 or 7 here, and Ponson can keep Texas within a run or two, Texas at +180 is a good deal.

If Ponson can only keep Texas within 7 or so, it's not a good deal.

    But I think he can.

Announcers on the Rangers network just stated that Ponson pitched a 12 hitter. I've never heard that one before.

Sydney getting dog money tonight at home. I'm almost liking Texas at home tonight but I'm going to pull myself back from the cliff and scratch this game alltogether, look for something else.

My luck Sydney throws another 12 hitter.

Anyone rolling with Texas tonight, like those bats.

Sydneys back boys. Didn't the Yankees have him pitch two starts last season before they fired him?

Looks like the other shoe dropped for Syd.

I actually like him tonight! Yankees +120 over a washed up Pedro, and the way Yanks are hitting, Sidney doesn't have to toss a gem, but rather just don't get crushed.
