How are they compared to BetFair and other huge books overseas?

as a business I wouldn't want the headaches of dealing with the US. The margin for profit isn't there with the amount of complaints/hassles and payments that would have to be re-done constantly.

They lost what, 70% of their business when they pulled out of the US?

I think they'd love to come back but thanks to the republicon shitheads like Bill Frist, who snuck the anti-gambling law through, they may never return.

Thank goodness the republicons are keeping us all safe from the evils of gambling.

    Of course they'll be back.

As soon as the US legalizes betting on sports.

So they can tax it. The U.S.,like all decaying empires, is in a period where they will be trying to squeeze "painless" taxes out of any lemon they can get their grasping hands on.

Regardless of whether McCain or Obama is the winner come Nov. Sham morality will battle economic necessity, and the latter will, evenutally, win out.

The hypocrisy of empire will, as always, conflict with the endless appetite for more and more revenue.

Rome in ancient times,Russia in the 20th century. Prime examples 2000 years apart. Empires cannot be sustained for long, historically speaking.

if the USA legalizes online sports betting Pinny will be just one of many books

even after taxes I'd rather play with a legal MGM than an offshore book
